Lavender Lodge

I liked how close to everything the lodge was, the site itself was gorgeous, amazing range of things to do!

Nothing that could be helped, but we stayed during the heat wave and the temperature of the lodge was unbelievable. We had to bring our own fan because there was non provided but all it did was blow around hot air, spent most of the time at the side of the van in the shade or in the club

Was a lovely relaxing stay with my sisters, watching all the wildlife around the lodge.

Having to pay for passes and never used any of the facilities, club or entertainment, however this was nothing to do with the host just hobourne site rules.

Lovely lodge in great location 5 minute walk to main complex arrival check in was great and easy and the lodge was lovely to stay in. All bedding and towels provided and a nice welcome pack too. the lodge itself is really lovely and comfortable and would recommend staying here. Hoburne itself is really peaceful didn’t have any noise at all and is very close to the water parks.

The only real minus was the outside furniture had some previous damage and there were a couple of stains on the carpets. The outdoor pool at the Hoburne site was closed but that’s not the owners fault.

The accommodation is on the Hobourne Cotswolds family park with a number of facilities. Each caravan is separate and well spaced from the next. A good number of family activities and walks to do. Very central to the Cotswolds, making it a convenient, price effective option. With a reserved parking spot for the accommodation it makes parking hassle free. It is ideal for a short 2-3 night stay, for a small family.

This is a caravan made of pvc with no A/C, no fan, no ventilator (with this year's heat it was uncomfortable). Upon return to the accommodation after a day out, it is very hot inside (like an oven). Only means of cooling down is to open windows outward (not tilt and turn inwards), with no insect screens. Given that the caravan is not elevated it does feel uncomfortable to sleep with windows wide open, with some insects coming in (like spiders). At night you can hear if any other person inside walks around or uses the restroom. Closing a window or door makes the caravan shake slightly but enough to wake us up. The property is in need of some TLC and there is room for improvement with regards to cleaning. There is a family pass that needs to be paid separately.
