Welcoming, relaxing and perfect views
Dormouse is a lovely cottage equipped with everything that we could possibly need. The instructions/info before arrival and in the folder were all very helpful. The views are wonderful and it's great that it's only a very short walk to the village. We did some lovely walks from the cottage and didn't need the car. We wished we were staying for longer!

Fantastic cosy cottage for a week in the lakes 😊
The view from the cottage was beautiful, and it was a perfect base for walking, swimming in the lake and exploring Coniston. Loved the open fire, the comfy sofa and how cosy it felt. The cottage was clean and well kitted out with everything we needed.

A nice relaxing break. The weather was very wet, but it didn’t stop us being out all day!
Wonderful quiet location with superb views over the Lake. Comfortable cosy cottage with an excellent little garden to the front Four nice local pubs all serving food and obviously numerous walks amongst stunning countryside.
It should be stated that due to the property being situated on a hill and up a very tight, very narrow road (track) to drive up there, it’s not ideal for people that are infirm or disabled. The walk back from the village is also steep in places
