Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. Lovely walks from the doorstep, and easy to get to the mountains for longer walks. Owls nesting nearby. Very friendly neighbours.
The website said there was a garden - but there isn't! Just a very small, unenclosed patio space outside the back door, next to a road.
The cottage itself is dog-friendly, but the lack of a garden made it a bit more complicated with our dog. We wouldn't have booked the cottage if we had known, and the price we paid was higher than we would have chosen to pay for a property with no garden.

Beautiful surroundings ! Beautiful bedrooms comfy bed.
Quiet area but great base for exploring Bowness and Hawkshead.
Would have loved somewhere tidy outside to sit. But that’s the only thing.

Cosy cottage in a great location.
No parking in the garage! The owners would be better off just demolishing it and converting it to a parking space!? No modern car will fit in it!
