Alkiona - Secluded 4 bedroom Villa, private infinity pool and glorious sea views

The views are amazing. The seclusion was perfect. The road to the villa requires a confident driver but it is worth it. The drive to Skala is less than ten minutes so really quick to go to the shops or restaurants. The villa was spotless. The beds were really comfy. A couple of things went wrong while we were at the villa but Hazel and Fotis got things fixed really quickly so what could have been a big deal wasn't a big deal. The kitchen would benefit from some updates. There were a lot of wasps while we there.

Beautiful villa - hidden up a mountain - all the comforts you need and a wonderful pool with amazing views. The goats dotted around the mountain add to the feeling of remoteness. Definitely need a car and a confident driver as the roads are very steep. Spoilt for choice with wonderful beaches and many many tavernas within 15 minutes drive. Hazel was great and very responsive when some help was needed fixing the pool pump.

Fabulous property with stunning views. The pool was great for afternoon swimming and the pool table and table tennis were an added bonus. The local taverna, 5 minute drive away served tasty local dishes. The daily visit by the goats and sheep were interesting to watch, we understood why the gates needed to be locked! Hazel was very helpful and very approachable. Hire car is essential and Skala, a 10 minute drive away has everything you need including an outstanding Gelato stop. Thank you for a wonderful unforgettable family holiday, we all fell in love with Kefalonia (especially the Loggerhead turtles)

This villa is about 15 minutes drive away from Skala up in the mountains. It is well laid out with good sized bedrooms with en suites. The air conditioning is good and it is well equipped. The local Taverna is a short walk away and serves lovely food. Any problems with the villa were sorted immediately. The town of Skala has a large number of bars and restaurants, so a car is essential. If you like peace and quiet and not being over looked this is the place for you. We highly recommend this villa.
