Peaceful and comfortable studio apartment, with everything we needed. The pool area is only used by 3 apartments and most of the time we had it to ourselves. There are plenty of sun loungers and it's very clean and tidy. In fact we barely ever saw other residents so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The apartment was comfortable and the bathroom area felt like a luxury hotel. We met the owner when checking in and she was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing really with regards to the apartments themselves. They are located at the top of a hill on the outskirts of the town. It's only about a 10 min walk to the shops and restaurants (and you can get a taxi up from the beach for 7€). So the location didn't cause us any issues, but if you are less mobile it's worth being aware of.

Accommodation is set in a fantastic quiet location but only a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Property ideal for 4 people. Very comfortable and well equipped. Both bedrooms have ample storage space with great showers. The master bedroom also has a large bath.

I did enjoy the private pool, the bed was comfortable, and the sea in Skala is beautiful. If you're looking for a more authentic Greek experience, I’d recommend heading to the north of the island instead.

The photos of the flat are very misleading. You think you're booking a stylish, well-maintained property, but what you get is a place that’s trying to be something it no longer is—if it ever was. Maybe it was nice at the beginning and that’s when the pictures were taken. In reality, it feels a bit run-down and neglected, with stained cushions and weeds growing next to the private pool. As for the location, Skala doesn’t feel like real Greece. It’s packed with British tourists, and the whole village seems to have been tailored to cater to them. It feels artificial, like a mock Greek village designed for people who want to leave the UK without actually experiencing a different culture.
