The accommodation was very clean and had all the necessary equipment expected from a self catering property. The patio and pool were perfect for a relaxing holiday. Air conditioning in the bedroom and kitchen were a welcome relief from the hot weather, they were both very easy to use. The owner allowed us to stay in the accommodation on our last day which was really kind, and at no extra charge......this was a nice touch as most other places would have charged for just a few hours, so we were lucky that the next guests were not arriving on our departure day. A great place and would visit again.

Although not a problem for us, the walk to the village was around 10 mins (or less) to the main area for the restaurants and bars with a bit of an uphill walk, albeit not a steep hill but a pleasant walk which we actually enjoyed.

Tucked away slightly out of town, it was very quiet. The room was lovely and spacious with a very good terrace. Pool area nice. Staff were very responsive and helpful.

We were in the Kyparissi Suite, which unfortunately had a low wall (lacked privacy) when people walked passed to the lower suites. A higher wall or screen would be useful. Otherwise our stay was lovely.

Modern, clean, good location, comfortable with a lovely outdoor area

No hot water for first 2 days which was sorted out by the owner and the pool is cold as are all pools in Kefalonia

I did enjoy the private pool, the bed was comfortable, and the sea in Skala is beautiful. If you're looking for a more authentic Greek experience, I’d recommend heading to the north of the island instead.

The photos of the flat are very misleading. You think you're booking a stylish, well-maintained property, but what you get is a place that’s trying to be something it no longer is—if it ever was. Maybe it was nice at the beginning and that’s when the pictures were taken. In reality, it feels a bit run-down and neglected, with stained cushions and weeds growing next to the private pool. As for the location, Skala doesn’t feel like real Greece. It’s packed with British tourists, and the whole village seems to have been tailored to cater to them. It feels artificial, like a mock Greek village designed for people who want to leave the UK without actually experiencing a different culture.
