About this house rental
It's a family guesthouse in Santorini located in the heart of Perissa village. It's fabulous advantage is its location exactly on the famous and popular black Perissa Beach. Therefore it is the perfect house to enjoy the sun and sea. It is ideal for families with younger children who want to spend their holidays on the beach all day. This charming house is the first house of the village built according to the traditional architecture of Santorini in 1928.
The house is 35sq.m. and has a bedroom with a traditionally built queen size bed and a big closet. A built sofa bed in the living room (or a travel cot) can accommodate a child if needed (upon request). Note that there is no door between the bedroom and the living room.
All necessary ded linen and towels are provided for your use.
There is one WC with a very spacious shower.
In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a meal: a cooker, a fridge, and of course cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils and a coffe machine.
A terrace with beautiful sea view is there for you to dine, play or relax under the greek summer sun.
House cleaning (along with all fresh linen and towels) is provided once a week. Facilities such as an iron board with iron, hairdryer are also provided. The house has air-conditioning and internet access.

Our stay at Sunhaus was wonderful! A beautiful little apartment, right across the road from the water. Watched the sunrise from the kitchen window - it was stunning. The area is clean and very tourist friendly. My daughter and I never felt afraid to go anywhere. It was easy to get to other parts of the island using the tourist friendly public bus system. The hosts answered all questions quickly, and were able to arrange transportation to and from the airport with no problem. Super friendly people that we met all over the island. Would highly recommend Sunhaus if you are looking for a beach area in a smaller community.

Everything about this stay was excellent. I can’t recommend it more!About the house: it’s literally right across the street from a beautiful black sand beach. The street is also lined with restaurants, shops, and markets where you can get whatever you need. It’s more than a mile long and just beautiful to walk along to pick out a place to eat or a spot on the beach to stop and stay. The house is beautiful and clean and it has a great porch where you can sit in comfortable chairs and watch people stroll along the street. The bed is comfortable and with the full bathroom and small fridge you have everything you need.Next, the hosts! Irini and Akis were great. A few days after booking I received a long email from Irini with recommendations to get to the house from the airport, places to go for romantic and beautiful dinners, and the best sites to see around the island. She offered to help us book a rental car, reservations, and more. We weren’t sure of our plans but then decided to rent a car about two days before arriving. Irini worked with a colleague from a car rental agency and there was a car waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. Interestingly enough, due to a late flight that was also delayed, we didn’t arrive until around 1:00am on a Saturday night! The car was there, and Akis met us at the property to get us checked in and set up with everything! It was really the best service!I would definitely recommend this place to stay 1000%!!

The accommodation was excellent and everything we could have wanted. I would recommend it completely. Irini was so helpful with everything and the place was immaculate and clean.

We've stayed STRs all over the world. The ad for this one was the most misleading we can remember. Several photos were not of the rental unit but of the owner's attached unit next door. The view direct from the doorway to the beach? The cute table and chairs? The door surrounded by two windows? All the owner's unit. So we had an unpleasant chat about that in which she first chuckled dismissively, said "you're wrong," but then was forced to admit those photos were not of the rental unit. Then criticized me for being upset. Unpleasant and, for us, unprecedented.
Our arrival was also marred by her sister coming over and immediately demanding, with credit card reader in hand, we pay the second installment immediately. The due date was set by the host, and we told her we would pay via VRBO. We did.
And: No oven, toaster oven, or microwave; no cooking knives; no ice cube trays in the tiny freezer; no blankets until the second night when we asked (!!). The shower gets water all over the bathroom floor.
But, if you want to be right on the promenade with lots of foot traffic and beach restaurants - if that's your scene - this could be a fine place for you. The A/C is good (or cross breeze if you want it), the shower has hot water, it is clean, and it has plenty of closet and dresser space. If the host puts more thought into her rental and removes photos of units other than the one she is actually renting, this unit could rise to the level of other STRs. It has the potential.
