Looking for a getaway place in Steinhatchee, FL? This 2 bedroom (1 bedroom on main floor/1 loft bedroom) condo is approx. 400 steps to the public boat ramp, less than a 1/2 mile to Sea Hag Marina, approx. 150 steps to Crabbie Dad's Bar & Grill (live music). New Steinhatchee River Club Marina is NOW open. Located at the end of the block right on the river. It’s a short walk from the condo.
Built in 2007, the condo has been recently painted - offering a relaxing hue. Main floor features living/dining/kitchen; bathroom with separate room for the commode & tub/shower; private bedroom has a king size bed. Tile floors in main living, vinyl plank flooring in the private bedroom, and carpet in the loft bedroom. Loft 1/2 bathroom has vinyl flooring. Sleeps 4-6 comfortably.
Spiral staircase leads to the loft. Reading nook has a window view of the Steinhatchee River as it flows into the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from here. Queen size bed located in loft bedroom.
Living room features a queen sleeper sofa. Dining table has 2 chairs & bench seating. Kitchen is stocked with the basic cooking/dining needs; small coffee pot, manual can opener, microwave, refrigerator and stove (no dishwasher). Balcony faces east, where you can watch the sunrise. 2 Adirondack plastic chairs on the balcony. Absolutely NO smoking inside the condo (active commercial sprinkler system).
Located on the 3rd floor (no elevator). Steinhatchee Place Condo exterior has been recently painted (reminiscent of the Florida Lotto colors). Steinhatchee has some of the best scalloping in Florida & abundant fishing opportunities! Its a "small town with a fishing problem". * Starter supply of paper products.

The condo was perfect for our little group. It was very clean. It had plenty of towels and beach towels as well. Everything was within walking distance. It had a boat trailer parking and covered parking. It was our first time scalloping and we had a blast! We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was very clean and nice. We were very impressed with it. It was nicer than we expected and very close to everything. Will be staying again

The third floor without an elevator proved too much for us as we had luggage and groceries to carry up for 3 days. The kitchen and bath seemed clean, but the floor and bedroom needed moping and dusting. The TV was huge, but it never worked even when we had a techy person try to help. Talked with the owner and she wasn't interested in helping in any way. Therefore, we missed seeing the British Open golf tournament! As we discovered, too late, we had been given the wrong code. As we visit Steinhatchee every year for a family reunion, we will not be staying at Steinhatchee Place ever again!
