Georgetown Lake Lookout - Amazing Lake Views and Year-Round Fun!

This cottage at Georgetown Lake has it all! Spectacular views from the lake, walking distance to the water, trails for ATV, dirt bikes, snowmobiling, and hiking right out the front door, 15 minutes from Discovery Ski Area, as well as a short drive (20 minutes) to Philipsburg and Anaconda (including Fairmont Hot Springs) make this place a year-around destination.

During the summer, go ATV, dirt bike riding, or hiking right from the house, have a bonfire in the fire pit, go mountain biking, play golf in Anaconda, enjoy the lake by fishing, boating, and swimming, or just relax and take in the views. With spectacular views of the water and forest, trails right out the front door, it being less than a 5-minute drive away from the local marina, it is the perfect location for summer fun! During the winter, enjoy ice fishing, skiing at Discovery Ski Area, snowmobiling, sledding, cross country skiing, or just playing games by the fire. Snowmobiling, sledding, and cross-country skiing can happen right from the house. Also, we have a two car garage to store your toys, no matter the season.

This cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a spacious living room with fireplace (and amazing views of the lake), dining area, equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, nice deck overlooking the lake, over an acre of land around it for play, gazebo, and garage. With lots of toys, games, and movies, this is the perfect location for a family get-away with one or two families, or a weekend retreat for couples. It is located in the Edwards Tract neighborhood, very near several other VRBO rental houses, so there is the potential to rent multiple locations for family reunions or weekends of fun with friends. Contact me for suggestions of houses that are close to ours. This is a pet-friendly cottage, so for a small pet fee, feel free to bring your well-behaved fur babies along.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, built-in bunkbeds, a desk, plenty of storage, and room for a Pack 'n Play crib (provided), if needed. This bedroom is super quiet! The second bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, storage, room for the Pack 'n Play crib (if needed), view of the lake and forest, and comfy chair to relax in. Both bathrooms include sinks, toilets, storage space, and showers/bathtubs. A washer and drier are included next to one of the bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, with a large refrigerator and freezer. We have fast internet, a Bluetooth speaker system, and TV with all the bells and whistles. The garage is a very spacious two-car garage to store your toys, no matter the season. The deck has a charcoal BBQ, "party lights" to light up the night, and plenty of room to relax and soak in the view.

This house is a single floor house, with a ramp up to the front door, which makes it very accessible. Though this house is easy to get to with plowed roads and driveway, we do recommend a car with 4-wheel drive or snow tires during the winter, just to be safe.
