This house is immaculate in its up keep. The location is nestled in a quiet gated community. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. The backyard pool was a welcome treat for the kids after a fun day exploring the islandWe brought our family of 8 for a week. Kids age ranging from 6 to 18 years old. Humacao Natural Reserve is just down the street. El Yungue national first 40min drive. Chaco El Hippie even closer. Rick(owner) was wonderful.

This was perfect for our family! The pool is well maintained, the house is clean, the beach is quiet and close! I saw other reviews that weren’t thrilled with the beach, but I thought it was just lovely! We met up with friends in Luquillo, and while that beach is a bit calmer with more sandy shore area, it was very crowded and full of litter. The beach that we could walk to from this home was clean and quiet, a little bit rougher water, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an ocean. The host is very responsive to questions. I was worried about it being labeled “rural” but being from the Midwest, driving 7 minutes into town is nothing It was so nice having a private pool for my kids and a clean, quiet beach within a 2 second walk.

The home is beautiful and the pictures of the home are accurate. There was clear thought put into ensuring renters have what they need to enjoy their stay (beach towels/chairs/rafts available). The rental unit is probably the nicest house in the neighborhood that has mixed-maintained homes. The owner was very responsive and had good restaurant recommendations.
