We stayed here over Thanksgiving and the house was perfect for us. Only piece of feedback is that the place could have been a bit tidier and could use a coat of paint

The house met our needs as a family of four plus our goldren retriever but there were some hiccups. The pre-scheduled heat/cool settings were a bit cumbersome, especially when our kiddos monitors alerted to temps as low as 61 degrees at night. The hot tub did not work the final night we were there - temp would not exceed 93 degrees. Dishwasher was not emptied upon our arrival and some pots/pans were left dirty in the cabinet. Requested extra linens because some which were provided were dirty. Extra pillows were available in an upstairs closet but none with pillow cases. The issues did not cause us any significant dissatisfaction, but attention to detail would have been appreciated. Would consider renting again.

This is a nice property but needs better maintenance. Also, there is no pool. Not sure why the listing says there’s a pool when there’s not. My 4 kids were extremely disappointed, we only look at properties with pool access. The property is owned by Taylor Made Deep Creek Rentals, they will respond when you reach out through VRBO. They told me the pool actually meant the college pool that is a few miles away and has limited hours for the public (and costs additional money to use). They did give me a pass for my family to use, but due to the pool constantly being used for private lessons, we were turned away the first time we went and only able to go one other day. Also, the sauna was broken and not repaired during the week we were there despite reporting it the morning of the second day there. The cleaning job was shoddy, with dust everywhere and a stove that smoked when I attempted to use it. The electronic key system is frustrating, sometimes taking a dozen times to lock the door. This could be a great rental if better maintained (and more honest in the listing). I requested a partial refund from Taylor Made Deep Creek Rentals and was denied for reasons that aren’t clear to me. You didn’t deliver on what you advertised and charged me for. I would never rent from them again.
