Spend your days hiking the area’s 30+ miles of trails, completing the ninja warrior course, soaring down a zip line at ~40mph, tubing down a hill longer than 3 football fields, playing volleyball/kayaking/aqua cycling in the lake or skiing the best ski area in the region!

This condo quickly became our favorite get-away spot and we’re sure it will be yours too!

The location for skiing with the family was perfect. We have young children so used the shuttle which was convenient and easy. We visited several local breweries that were close and provided beautiful scenery. The house had everything I needed in the kitchen to make several meals.

Awesome views! Convenient location to Wintergreen resort, ski slopes, and The Plunge snowtubing park. Cozy condo for our family.

We’ve stayed in the Highlands complex and others in Wintergreen before and always had a lovely experience. This was not one of our better experiences. Pros and cons below.
PROS
- Lovely location
- Cute condo
CONS
- We never received check in/out instructions. Very late in the day on our arrival day, I realized I had no check in instructions, no code for entering. I messaged the host who did provide the code. She texted a page a half of what appeared to be the guest book, but never emailed/texted the entire guest book. No info was in the app. Very strange.
- The bed in the primary bedroom is VERY soft and incredibly uncomfortable. I’m not typically picky about beds, but this was one of the worst I have experienced at a VRBO.
- We couldn’t figure out how to get into Netflix, as the Firestick wasn’t working. Again, there was no guestbook and no instructions, so I had to message the host. She provided instructions, but it was still annoying this information wasn’t easily available.
- There were instructions for turning on the hot water. WHAT?!?!? That is not the way to save a few bucks.
- The bathroom had a medicine cabinet full of pediatric and adults meds; some look like they’ve been there for years. First of all, gross! Second, there are crazy people in this world. Do you really store your children’s medicine in there?
- The kitchen is fine, but it’s the only VRBO I’ve stayed that didn’t have any cooking oil. Normally I bring my own, just to safe.
