The location was great, the condo was adequate and overall it was a good value.

Location was great! The property was a little small, lacked proper cooker ware (I. E. non stick pan not functional) and AC was very loud and not efficient in living area. Also, having a few trash bags on site would be nice and replacing rusted trash can in bathroom and broken picture in living room would enhance aesthetics.

It was picked up but didn’t feel completely sanitary. In addition there was no broom and sheets were poor quality.

Very comfortable with a relaxing lanai, a bidet, washer/dryer, and easy access to the coastal area.

We loved the lanai (what Hawaiians call a porch/patio) and the causal start to each day. There was also a bidet in the bathroom that was wonderful. Parking was easy and access from the highway was a piece of cake. We loved watching the geckos from the lanai. It was nice to be able to walk to the ocean and easily walk to a nearby coffee shop.

The coqui frogs were a bother. There was one close to the property that was so loud every night that we had to run the AC unit just to try to drown out the noise. We ended up sleeping with ear plugs. The washer/dryer was great, but a bit musty smelling and needs a cleaning.

It was very comfortable and quiet.

We loved how spacious it was even though there were only three of us. The price was perfect for the amount of space there was and the location on alii was close to stores, foods, and different restaurants. We weren’t at this room much as we were out and about but the when we were, we were very comfortable. They also provide lots of board game activities and beach accessories!

Noisy a/c and power board behind head in bedroom- would not stay again.

Good size and good amenities. You could walk down driveway to see sunset. Pleasant outdoor table and garden setting.

The bed in bedroom was on other side of the wall to the buildings power. So our heads were 20 cm from this . It was like we were wired all night – couldn’t sleep and body jumpy. Moved to pull out couch in lounge room and slept much better. Air-conditioners were portable and the one in the bedroom in a small room sounded like a hurricane. Chose to only run the overhead fan in the lounge room when sleeping there for the same reason.

An excellent location and quiet, comfy stay for a great price

The location was perfect! Quiet complex of units, but still very close to nightlife, restaurants, and beaches. The air conditioners and fans kept us very comfy, especially when the afternoons got hot. The patio was semi private, but the perfect spot to play a game or eat breakfast. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean with a nice big shower. The kitchen had a nice collection of cooking essentials, including a dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, etc.

The only thing was we wished there was an overhead light in the kitchen. But with the blinds open and nearby lamps, it was fine.

Cute place in a perfect location and the price was very reasonable. I would book it again!

The unit was very nice and comfortable and only a few feet away from the beautiful sunset view. I had to work during my stay and I really appreciated the desk and chair that were in the living room. There is no air conditioning, but there were plenty of fans and portable AC units, so it wasn’t an issue.

I loved the interior space. We were able to use the sofa bed which was nice. Loved the ocean view and garden the property provided.

Comfortable stay, great for couples or friends enjoying a long weekend together.

The size of the property and surrounding area was great. We felt safe and found the household amenities very useful during our short stay. Appliances in the kitchen and sports gear in the mudroom were available for guest use. Excellent provision of towels, clean spaces for storage and luggage area, all made our stay fuss-free.

The cleaning crew may have consumed weed indoors which left a slight smell throughout our stay, not the worst but something to caution for guests with a more sensitive sense of smell. Earlier check-in timing could be offered.

Love the place!

We got clear instructions on getting the key code to main door, access key to pool and coastal area, property maintenance before checkout. The place was roomy, quick walk to the coastal are in the back of property to watch the sunset, and nice in the morning as the sun rises. Nice bathroom accommodations (towels, shampoo, strong shower head), well-equipped kitchen, and a nice sitting area.

Kitchen could use more ceiling light. There is a ceiling fan with light but no way to turn off the fan. A little pricey for the stay of 2 people. Give it 8.5/10.0.

It is a relaxed condo with a comfortable bed and nice updates. The beach access is easy and beautiful! The location was perfect for accessing all areas of the island.

I did not like that we saw two cockroaches. We had to empty our suitcases before leaving to ensure we didn't have any hitchhiker bugs traveling home with us.

I was there with my cousin we both agree. This was our favorite place in our 9 day vacation.

compared to the other places I stayed for the nine days. Way better then hotels by far. I even stayed at Hilton. I called walk a lot Hilton. did not enjoy that very expensive stay at the Hilton took 2 1/2 hours just to get checked in . The condo pull up your car walk about 50 feet you’re in your room, no hassle. I loved that the pool didn’t have a bunch of children in it. Plus, condo is extremely well supplied with all the little extras that you need. if I was going to go back to Kona, I would repeat that condo.

Tropical getaway from the suburbs in Northern California

Indar was friendly and very hospitable. Responses were prompt and accommodating, which was very appreciated. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well furnished and came with a free parking spot. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, large TV, Wifi, desk in living room and there's a walk-in closet in the bedroom with a dresser and there are additional drawers under the bed. I like to use a lot pillows when sleeping. There were lots of extra pillows and pillow covers in the closet! And the bed was comfy! The washer/dryer looked new. Very nice! The portable AC in the bedroom worked really well! The location was great! Green Flash Coffee was just a 5-minute walk away and so worth getting out of bed for! There's great spots to eat and shop just a mile away in Kailua Kona town. Breakfast or lunch at Island Lava Java is a must! Great view and the food is amazing! We enjoyed the best shave ice at Gecko Girlz! We sat nearby, to watch some locals playing a game of volleyball and the sunset in the background. Target, Walmart and Safeway are all a short drive away. We found this great little spot, near Target, called Hawaii Fresh Specialties for some fresh poke and yummy Hawaiian dishes. It's located in the Kona International Marketplace. The Marketplace was bare, but we were so glad to have found this little gem! Hawaii Fresh Specialties is a must try! Overall, we're so glad to have found this place. Would rent again!

The only con was the living room was hot during the day. There were 2 tower fans and a ceiling fan. Even with all 3 fans on, the room would not cool down. A portable AC unit in the living room would have been great, but we managed without it. This wasn't a deal breaker for us.
