About this house rental
My beautiful two bedrooms apartment, professionally cleaned after each stay, is located in the vibrant area of Porta Portese, and perfect for those traveling with friends or family for both short and medium-term stays, or for business trips (near to the S.Camillo and Spallanzani hospital - Trastevere Station).
The house enjoys excellent connections and the area is equipped with all the basic needs in a walking distance.
The modern and functional apartment offers all the comforts for a short or medium-term stay in the capital city, it comes with a large terrace, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other one with a bunk bed), two bathrooms with shower, a living room with a comfortable double sofa bed and an open space kitchen dining area fully equipped for every need.
The ensuite master bedroom is spacious and bright equipped with a large window and a comfortable double bed (prepared with clean linen before the arrival of each guest), it comes with enough space to store luggage and all personal objects (there is a large wardrobe) and an ensuite bathroom with a large shower.
The second bedroom has a comfortable bunk bed a wardrobe and the access to a small private balcony where is placed the washing machine (available for free to all the guests of the apartment).
The living area has the access to a large private terrace which is a rarity in this area of Rome!
It is equipped with a double sofa bed, a TV, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING HOUSE RULES BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL:
- please inform us the soonest you can about your expected arrival time at the apartment;
- check in time is 3pm - 8pm > the maximum tolerance is 10pm. The arrival time must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance, otherwise check-in at your desired time may not be guaranteed;
- CHECK IN PROCEDURE > all the guests will be required to present a valid identity document upon the arrival to be registered to the Italian security authorities, as required by the current legislation regarding short stays (also minors); each guest is required to sign a short term rental contract (possibly before the arrival in electronic format);
- according to the Italian law in Rome the tourist city tax is € 6,00 per person per night, applied for the first 10 nights (children under 10 years old are exempt); it is possible to pay the city tax amount exclusively by cash and in euros;
- for each stay the apartment is equipped with a BASIC supply as follows: bed linen (sheets, pillowcases and blankets for each bed - preparation of sofa/armchair beds or additional beds on request before the arrival); bathroom linen (one face towel and one bath/shower towel per guest); personal care detergents (one single-dose soap and one bar of soap per guest); toilet paper (two rolls for each bathroom);
- it is not possible to wash the linen provided on the arrival at home - the cost for each damaged piece will be charged if this happens; for stays exceeding 6 nights there is an extra cost for linen change based on the number of guests and occupied beds;
- please respect the other neighbors (do not make noise between 10pm and 8am);
- extra cost will be charged on guests if the flat will be found at the check out in particularly dirty and untidy conditions;
- baby cot available on request (linen not provided).

The apartment is very convenient with all the necessary amenities. It is a little bit outside of the city center but we didn't have an issue with that as bus stops are literally steps away. We managed very well with our 2 young children and grandparents. It is walking distance to the Roma Trastevere train station and a bus ride away to the bustling Trastevere area. There are also nearby shops for quick groceries and a bite to eat as well as a supermarket, which is walking distance. The owner and the property managers were lovely and very responsive. The washing machine had stopped working and they had it fixed immediately. Something that is very required in the Roman heat! If you stay here then you have to go to the coffee shop "Gelateria Giuffre" just at the corner of the building. Our mornings were spent here with a cappuccino and a pastry. And later on for a gelato to cool down. Overall, the apartment was great, what you see in the pictures is what you get. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to stay away from the bustle of the city.

Excellent location outside of the tourist area of Trastevere. All required amenities are in the immediate vicinity of the apartment and the location has great connections via tram to the city centre or rail links from Trastevere Station to almost anywhere!

This was a good base for exploring Roma but being a little out of the main hustle and bustle. What you see in the description and picture is what you get - it’s functional and with shutters on each window and door, most sound is fully blocked out - a welcome change from the busy-ness of Rome. What you don’t see is the convenience of public transport outside the door, good restaurants and supermarket around the corner. Transport is cheap - 1.50 for 100 mins. Highly recommend the Moovit app for getting around. You will feel like you live in Roma in this apartment. Owner is very helpful and good communication.

The apartment is situated in a somewhat grungy part of Trastevere but perfect for easy access to food, trains and buses. Being so far out from the busy tourist areas, the place was really quiet. Listing for apartment is accurate and the place was clean but some basics such as dish cloth, dish brush and kitchen plug were missing. Kitchen in general very basic, no microwave etc. Great having the outdoor front balcony which was safe for the kids but it needed some cleaning and garden maintenance. Back balcony also needs a good clean. Air con throughout was great. Not much space for toiletries in en-suite bathroom but draws just around the corner in the bedroom that can be used. All up, a great place that we would recommend :)
