The Winemakers House at De Iuliis is the Hunter’s best kept secret. This contemporary, pet friendly, split level residence is ideal for groups of up to 7 guests and is located on Broke Road at the home of De Iuliis wines. Guests staying at the Winemakers House will not only enjoy this well-appointed house, they will be able to effortlessly wander just 30 metres from the accommodation to experience De Iuliis’ stunning, architecturally designed cellar door, premium wines and generous hospitality.
Contemporary and casual in style and design, this light filled house features 4 bedrooms comprising of one king room with en-suite, two king rooms, one king single room and 2.5 bathrooms. Three bedrooms have fans and the positioning of the house leaves it cool in summer and warm in winter, plus a reverse cycle air-conditioning unit on each level can be adjusted to manage your own comfort. With relaxation in mind, guest will enjoy lux bedding and all the comforts you would expect for a great stay in the Hunter Valley.
The entertaining level is open plan with a generous kitchen, dining and living space that opens out to a rear, enclosed courtyard which is the perfect suntrap to enjoy a casual BBQ with friends and family or sun yourself on the outdoor furniture. In the winter, guests can enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace or cosy up on the sofa and watch a movie on Foxtel. Dogs are very welcome to stay at De Iuliis; your four-legged family member will also have a happy time and can be secured in the dog enclosure which can be both accessed and viewed from Bedrooms One and Two.

We permit a maximum of 2 dogs at the property at any one time. A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.

Infants under 2 years are free
A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.
Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.
SECURITY DEPOSIT A security deposit/bond of $800.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.
Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

The house is nice and spacious, aircon worked well, bedrooms excellent, and the small gift of 2 bottle of wine was great. However, we discovered the free win by accident as we went in to purchase some wine from the cellar door. Also, there were a large number of small flies in the toilet off the kitchen.

Enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Winemaker's House. The house is clean and modern, with all mod cons and very conveniently located for Broke wineries.There is plenty of space for a group of adults, or families, with 3 Queen bedrooms (1 with en-suite) 1 single room. Our stay included a complimentary tasting at De Iuliis, which I highly recommend, as the wine is excellent.We also did a cheese tasting next door.Dogs are welcome, and there is a large, fully fenced grass area behind the propery, where your fur-babies can stay safe while you explore all that the Hunter has to offer. Communication with the property was great and check in was really easy, with a code sent by SMS 30 mins prior to arrival. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Winemakers Cottage, including the cellar door and the cheese shop and cafe next door were great. We'd stay here again!

We stayed 3 nights at the Winemakers House at De Iuliis and had many positives in our stay. The location is excellent to the wineries, the property itself is right next to the cafe and De luiis winery and the staff are excellent and so helpful, wines delivered to the door to welcome us and the cafe has fab food and coffee. The property itself has a well equipped kitchen, is spacious and the air con and fans in the bedrooms were appreciated. However, there is a lack of consistency for visiting guests, that detracted from the overall experience. Arriving to find an overflowing main bin, limited toilet paper, issues with the water supply and hot water for showering, an old and uncomfortable main lounge, and stains on the carpets upstairs, somewhat marred the experience of what has the potential to be a great property.
