The host was very helpful with any questions i had and we was able to check in early with no extra charges. Directions was accurate. The property is mins within many restaurants, grocery stores and about a 20 min drive to cedar point. The house is plenty big enough for a group of friends or a family of 5. I had mentioned i enjoy an evening fire and he had fire wood every night i was there.

The electric outside grill was awesome! It looked small, but we sure loaded it up! The fire pit was nice, but be sure to bring your own wood. The kitchen was adequate. Bring your own Ziploc bags, saran wrap, and foil. The race track was only 10 minutes away! What a timesaver this place was! And the arcade games are definite plus! Great communication with the host!

I booked this house for its central location due to a fishing trip. It was my husband, son, my father and my brother in law and they were extremely pleased with the amenities, the location, and just the general comfort of the property. Highly recommend. Communication with owner/manager was so smooth and responsive.

I booked the property in November '22 for the 4/8/24 eclipse. I followed up with the host a few months prior to the stay to let him know how excited my family was. The day before the eclipse, my wife, kids and myself made the 2.5 hr drive and showed up to find the space was rented out from underneath us. The host then had the gall to blame VRBO instead of taking the responsibility for the double booking. To say we were disappointed to no longer have a place to stay on the path of totality, after more than a year of planning, is a giant understatement. The situation was very unprofessional and a horrible way to treat people.

This was the perfect little house for our weekend. The house has what you need, the beds are very comfortable. The arcade games are a fun addition. If you’re looking for a cute little place to stay in the Norwalk/Sandusky area this is your place! And the host was wonderful to work with, great communication. Thanks for the stay!

The house was nice enough and the minimalism was appreciated but, the furniture is in dire need of cleaning and the house itself could have used a bit more cleaning and maintenance attention. This was not even remotely my concern at the time, as we were traveling all day and needed somewhere comfortable to rest our heads. That seemed like no problem until we laid down in bed and realized we were directly behind a bar that didn't close until 2:00 a.m. . You will definitely need a sound machine to stay here! Thankfully, my kids sleep with one anyway and we just left the bedroom door open to be able to hear theirs. The bed being positioned against the window still made the noise from the bar incredibly loud. I can't fault the owners for this noise at all, as they have no control over the bar or the sound coming from it but, better positioning of the bedroom may have helped, as well as insulating that window. The property is absolutely adorable and, given more time and warmer weather, we would have loved to hang out in the backyard and on the back porch. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary dishes for a quick meal and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the arcade machines. The bathroom was also well stocked with towels and washcloths without us having to go looking for them. As the person responsible for packing and unpacking our van, I really really appreciate the longer driveway, which extended to the back porch entrance.

Just off main drag so convenient yet still quiet...just needed an overnight with Grandkids after long day at Cedar Point...hence- video games a hit...would not recommend for your basketball squad as 2nd story ceiling a little low..worked for us!

Good place! The property was as described in the listing. Pros: Lots of space, good amenities, grill, private backyard, driveway parking, secure space, comfortable, family friendly, close to stores and food. Cons: Could have been a bit cleaner, it was a bit dusty and had cobwebs around. Overall: We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Had everything we needed.

We stayed at the rental for two nights for the big annual Pontiac car show. We were at the track all day long and came back to sleep. Had a nice full kitchen but didn't utilize much of the amenities except the beds, which were very comfy! Great value for our weekend.

The house was beautiful and had the most comfortable beds. We were not at the house much to cook or anything, but it did have everything we needed. My only complaint was having 1 bathroom, but we knew that when we booked and we made it work. I highly recommend!

When we arrived to the property the neighborhood was very rough and unsafe looking and the outside of the home was in disrepair and in need of major work. When we opened the door to the house we were greeted with a musty wet smell, the house was a home flip gone bad. The cabinets were filthy, the floors were so dirty we had to keep our shoes on and there was chips on the floor from the previous renter. The furniture was stained and the walls were so dirty (clearly this house is not being cleaned properly or maintained) When we went into the downstair room there was a large (almost the size of the bed) water stain with black colored mold on the ceiling. The beds were all very uncomfortable and we truly did not feel safe staying in this home. I contacted VRBO many times as well as the property manager with nothing to be done. Our second day there someone shows up in the yard walking around the property and scared us half to death. The guy went to the shed and started cutting the grass during our vacation!!!!! Never were we contacted that someone would be coming to the property. For the money we spent for 4 night I expect to have the property to myself. I did not feel safe leaving my dogs or belongings in the home after this because who knows who is coming into the home while we are away. The final straw was a loud party next door until 3am with bass and loud talking while my toddlers are trying to sleep. We packed up and were gone by 7am. The property host refused to refund any money for the dirty home and inaccurate description of the home or leaving early due to horrible conditions of the stay. We tried finding other places in the area that would take dogs so we could stay and finish our vacation, but unfortunately we couldn't find anywhere. I would not recommend staying in this home. I have rented so much nicer and gotten a lot more for a lot less money. The property host was horrible to deal with and ignored messages and was unwilling to resolve issues.

Overall this place was good for a quick overnight, beds were comfortable, our basic needs were met. However the floors were really dirty. One of the kids crawled on the floor for a few minutes and their hands and top of feet were black. All adults wore shoes due to how dirty their feet got walking in the house. The arcade games were a lot of fun. Overall a good place if the place was more clean.

I stayed here while I was doing a travel assignment for overnights. The daytime was really quiet so I was able to catch up on rest. I was also able to buy food from literally a block away and cook it in the kitchen which had new appliances. Overall it was a great stay and I will be coming back!

This house was as advertised and met our expectations. They neighborhood is a little on the older side but this house has been redone on the inside with all new kitchen appliances. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe at all times while walking my dogs. There is a park a few blocks down the street that I could walk them to and let them run a bit. The location is within walking distance to a grocery store, drug store and family dollar. There is a beautiful downtown area also within walking distance with cute shops to look in. Walmart and other stores are just a short drive away. Sandusky is only 20 minutes away. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a decent house for a lower cost. Plus the beds were comfortable!

This is a cute little house near the downtown strip. It was well maintained and clean. The beds were also very comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy. There is a great coffee shop with in walking distance. The house is close to the neighbors, but it was a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of families. I would absolutely stay here again.

We didn’t even spend the night. We went and got a hotel down the road. The house was nice and clean but smelled of pet urine. The part that really set me off is while starting to unload the car one of the neighbors began to stare us down and started using racial slurs toward us. We did not say one word. The neighborhood and neighbors houses are a bit sketchy.

Enjoyed our stay. This was the best stocked Vrbo rental we've had. We were able to cook most meals from home.. Plenty of beds for all 8 of us. Two rooms upstairs were perfect for the kids. Only 1 bathroom, but with good planning of showers we had no issues with that. Neighborhood seemed safe, we spent almost every night winding down near the fireplace, plenty of outdoor furniture and firewood stocked. Our main focus was cedarpoint and it was only a 15min drive away. Went shopping at Sandusky mall with a small variety of stores. Walmart/ grocery stores are very close under 5 min away from house. If you are looking for a beach to visit Nickel Plate Beach was clean and kids even swam in it(cold) Overall this property was 5 stars and well deserved, very diligent host that seemed to think of everything we needed. Definitely would stay again and recommend the property to others.
