It’s a perfect stay in the heart of Groningen. It's cosy, with a great atmosphere and surprisingly plenty of rooms.
They mentioned that the area around the bar and student area will get noisy at night, so be mindful when you book.
I personally don't have a problem with it. I slept fine. The room is big and has a nice interior.

The room was clean and tidy, the lock box is a plus when staying with stranger. Location right at the center of Alexanderplatz, under 3kin walk to tram. Overall very clean, the staff was professional and cost effective.

This hotel is funky, great location, clean, staff are nice, the bed and room were great and the breakfast looked good. All the ingredients for a good stay.
But the room I was in had the rooftop bar upstairs and a bar directly under the windows with music and loud chatting until well after midnight. If you plan to sleep after that that's fine. If you want an earlier night or a good night's sleep, probably not the hotel for you. I think the hotel suits younger travellers who are looking to experience the night life, and Groningen is definitely the place for it.
Also, bike rental is 15 p/d, even though it was advertised as 10. That annoyed me a little.
