Wir waren schon vor der Anreise in Kontakt mit den Vermietern. Sie waren sehr hilfreich und wir konnten schon um 10.30 Uhr einchecken. Das Appartement ist großzügig und die Lage ist zentral und doch sehr ruhig. Wir konnten vor dem Haus parken für 5,- € pro Tag und Sonntags frei. Alles sehr unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.

modern kitchen appliances. heating worked well. Hot water is rapidly available. The flat has coar tacks by the entrance door and coat hangers to hang wet coats, a shoe rack, both wardrobes and drawers to store clothes. There is one firm bed and one softer one which suited us well, good desks and reading lights in each bedroom to sit at and study/ write. Bedrooms have shutters which we appreciated to block out light when we wanted to sleep in of a morning, and to block out street lights at night. Kitchen has a gas hob and an electric oven, as well as a microwave, and all at the same height, so no bending down needed. A central internal light shaft provides some daylight in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom is cosy and warm with a well lit mirror, small bath and shower and a large heated towel rail. The flat is walking distance from the center of town and is on a side street without much passing traffic. There is a small carrefour shop close by at the petrol station which is open early until 10pm for necessities. When we had an issue with a broken shower fixing, the owner came over within half an hour with a plumber to address the issue. TV was simple to operate. Tea Towels were provided as well as Bath Towels. There is a washing machine, ironing board and iron… basically all one needs to be comfortable for a longer stay. Using the EasyPark App can make managing your on street parking slightly easier.
We found the chairs in the kitchen rather hard, so we used two of the cushions from the living room on them. We found the sofa and chaise longue were rather too low for us to get up off easily. (We are both rather tall). The TV colour appeared to lack a sufficient amount of blue and we were unable to adjust, however we understood that the landlord was aware and planned to fix this The kitchen was a bit dark due to limited daylight and two light bulbs that needed replacing. I found the cobwebs hanging from the ceiling somewhat off putting. The upstairs neighbor appeared to rearrange the furniture late at night, and again early in the morning, which with wooden floors we found rather loud. The kitchen pans were in need of replacement which the landlord was keen to address. There is only on street parking available, costing 25€ per day. You might need to drive around the block to find a place to park, in which case it helps to intentionally remember where you parked :-)
