Great location on the lake and the house is well thought out for families with adults up and children downstairs. Big kitchen and large deck for watching the lake activities. Nice boat slip dock area with covered seating space. Owner is excellent with communication.

Great place and owner, perfect for a week on the lake especially if you love to boat! Took 8 teenagers and my 85yr old mother w me for a week at the lake and had a blast, house is open, bright and well maintained. Enough extras to keep them busy with a game room downstairs and game closet for the evenings and time spent inside. This is our 5th year coming to Lake Anna and finally found a place for a repeat visit next summer!

The house and property were exactly what we were looking for. The lake access and set up on the dock was great. The house is huge, we had plenty of room to spread out as needed. Even the neighbors were very nice. Chris is super nice and extremely attentive and generous. Our group has been going to lake Anna for the last 5-6 years and this is by far the best place we have stayed! We will definitely be back!

We have been going to Lake Anna the past 3 years for New Year's and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Weekend at Bernie's. There was enough space for our two families and plenty of room for everyone to play or relax. The home is clean and the outdoor space is also lovely. We hope to be back soon!

A group of us who all went to grad school together stayed here and it was just perfect! The house has everything you could possibly need when it comes to cooking/eating/drinking. It is extremely spacious and well-kept. Our host Chris was extremely helpful, kind and very easy to communicate with. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are looking into something in the area.

Really enjoyed the Weekend at Bernie's property. House was perfect for our group, newly redone, great space for cooking, eating, card playing both indoors and out. Swimming dock was great, spent a lot of time down by the water. One of the best places we have rented on Lake Anna and we go every year.

Location on the lake is ideal. My family had a blast Swimming and fishing off the dock. There's a separate boat slip if you rent a boat. House had everything you need and plenty of space. And the host is friendly and responsive.

We all had a great weekend staying at this very, very nice property! It was so clean and organized when we arrived. It was much more spacious than we were expecting - both inside and out! All the rooms were very large and nicely furnished, plus lots of good quality towels and sheets! The host has been so responsive and helpful. We can highly recommend this property.

The house is fantastic and had plenty of room for our group of 3 couples plus an infant. It is well-equipped with basics, including plenty of pots and pans and spices so cooking was no problem. There are enough wineries, breweries and restaurants in the area as well. It's a great spot for a relaxing getaway and is worth it just for the lake view alone!

Really enjoyable weekend at Lake Anna. The house has a spectacular view and direct access to the lake. We had friends in from California, NYC, D.C. and Charlotte to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Interior is spacious and simple, great for a larger group. Chris was responsive to inquiries. We even got to hear live music from across the lake. A successful trip.

This was our second time staying at the property and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was clean and well stocked and the lake access was perfect for the kids. Keep in mind that walking back up hill to the house at the end of the day can be tricky for people with mobility issues.

This house is incredible, and it was a perfect getaway for our group of girlfriends. There was more than enough space for the nine of us, especially welcomed was the beautiful patio for dinner outside/sunset views and the spacious kitchen. Our host was incredibly helpful even running over an extra wine opener. Huge perks were the dock for our boat. We left and were already planning our return to this house next year!

Not only is this home located on a fantastic lot with immediate access to the lake, but also it is well worth the experience to book with this owner. Every small detail is well planned for a stress-free stay, and Chris was perfectly accommodating in every way! This was even better than described. This home has been completely remodeled, I think a full gut and rebuild, with a new layout. They did a fabulous job. It is in great shape and was done right. . Right on the water, with a gentle slope down to the two docks. We tied up our pontoon boat at one, and the grandkids swam and fished from the other. Nice open main floor design with a big deck overlooking the lake. Well equipped kitchen. Good internet and TVs. I think there were 5 TVs in the house. The master bedroom is huge with a comfy king bed and a lovely bath. Christopher was easy to contact, very responsive to my questions. About 10 minutes to the food lion. We definitely plan to stay here again.

My brother got married on the lake at another house so there was a blend of families staying together at this house. It was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space. Everyone had their own room & bathroom. Kitchen & living areas were spacious enough for us to hang out. Kitchen was very well equipped. House was super clean!! Owners are amazing communicators & very kind. The deck & view are just gorgeous! We had amazing weather & enjoyed being outside. Can't recommend this propery highly enough.

We had a the best time with a family gathering for Easter. With 4 teenagers, and 3 couples, there was still plenty of room, and not one person was ever board. We played games, went fishing and cooked in that well stocked wonderful kitchen. We even baked a Bundt cake for a birthday. The kitchen was very well stocked. And with quality pots. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for renting your house. We definitely made some wonderful memories!

We came for our kids spring break and everyone one of us had a great time. Communication with owners was great and they always responded in a very timely matter. I usually bring some of my own pots and pans but this time I forgot my box with them in it but it was fine and I’m glad I did. The kitchen has everything you need and more. House was very spacious and well kept and clean. It was amazing and we will book again for sure. I give this trip 5 stars hands down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the best time. Everything was just right for an intergenerational gathering after Christmas--ample eating space, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy indoor games, comfortable sleeping quarters, and plenty to do. Even in the cold, the kids enjoyed the ice on the lake, walks in the neighborhood, exploring and hiking in the state park nearby. Generally speaking, almost everything was clean but the cleaners skipped 2 bathrooms in the upstairs hallway, hence the 4, but everything else was perfect and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. We were happy campers. We hope to go back again.

We stayed at Chris’s property for two nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. From the very first interaction, Chris was super responsive and accommodating. The property is exactly like the photos if not better. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The game room was a hit with everyone. The view from the deck was amazing. There is an in-depth set of instructions covering almost any question you could have and a reasonable checkout checklist. Chris was flexible with our needs and responsive. Would highly recommend

We really enjoyed our vacation in this beautiful home. We loved the large dock and glad the water was deep enough to jump off the dock. There was a bit of boat traffic from boat and jet ski rentals just around the corner. We enjoyed the spacious deck and the view of the lake is beautiful. The grandchildren had a wonderful time in thr gameroom....definitely a bit hit. The house is clean and lovely and Chris the owner will get backbwith you immediately. I honestly feel the house is over priced but I have nothing but positive things to say about it inside and out. A vacation on Lake Anna just shouldn't cost as much as a trip to Europe.

The property is well maintained and super clean. The house is also well stocked with essentials such as hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc. The owner was very responsive throughout our stay. The view from the house is amazing and the covered deck on the lake was perfect for hanging out and playing cards. The lake can get a little busy with boats and jet skis but we didn’t mind it. We would definitely stay here again. Also, the 5th bedroom upstairs is rather small so definitely can only fit one person.
