Absolutely beautiful place we would definitely go again 2 nights just wasn’t enough..

It was a little cold but it is the time of year! There was blankets on the settees though to put over us..

Location amazing, beautiful area and great pub 3 minutes away Upstairs living area perfect for our needs

When we arrived there was a musty smell downstairs in the bedrooms .we aired the rooms and it faded slightly but it never went completely. We did inform the gentleman in charge of the property. The house just needs a little TLC ,then it would be much nicer

Lovely location, spa pool enjoyed by all. Previous comments suggested no freezer, this has been addressed. Helpful call from the property managers prior to check in on day of arrival.

Place needed a little airing on arrival, while house was overall clean, a deep clean of the kitchen (oven, pans, trays) would've been appreciated - a little overdue. One of the appeals of this place was a decent kitchen.

A very cosy comfortable cottage in a great location

Great location and felt very much home from home, had everything you need for self-catering. A very cosy, comfortable cottage. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. We had a small issue when we arrived and the hosts responded and dealt with it immediately, which was really good as it was late at night. Would recommend it to others.

Great place but had bedbugs!!

Bedbugs!! The place needs a lot of cleaning. Also, facilities were missing (no bbq, no hairdryer)

Hot tub Location - access road was difficult

No icebox in fridge No wire rack in grill pan Rusty wire off bottle found in dishwasher Oven needs professional clean Black Mould in shower room around window recess Where is ‘the view’ No gas bbq as promised Damp and mouldy smell on entering property by main door. Outdoor chairs needed cleaning Outside lights don’t work. Advertised as recently renovated - don’t think so , looking shabby ! Loose socket in middle bedroom Dog hair covering settees - 3 in our party are asthmatic. Screws sticking out on headboard and living room floor One large drinking glass only - others were smaller juice size No coffee machine as per description 2 wine glasses - for 5 adults in our party ….. I could go on …

really enjoyed our stay at rock cottage, host was very attentive ringing us making sure we had everything we needed.

ideal for our two dogs, plenty of space for them both inside & out. hot tub was very nice to come back to after a long coastal walk.

location, a bit dangerous walking with the dogs around the little village as no side walks. had to drive everywhere even the local shop. property was ideal for a family & dogs however, did need a little tlc more so in the area outside to make it more pleasant to sit. a good clean & a lick of paint would make it look so much better.

Disappointing, just acceptable but tired and not as described. Sorry but I wouldn’t recommend.

The outdoor terrace was a nice place to sit in the afternoon and a preference to sitting inside.

A little disappointing from the onset. The directions are inaccurate and need to be updated to Old Newport Road. The house had an awful damp smell on arrival, it clearly hadn’t been used for some time and could have done with an airing. It was old and tired inside, not like the photos. Kitchen units scuffed and dirty paintwork on the walls, pine wooden floor. The yellow sofa coverings looked dirty and unappealing, the dining chair seat pads were stained and dirty. The floors had not been cleaned, we encountered grit , dirt and dog kibble biscuits, very unpleasant. No coffee macine as mentioned and the ‘sea views’ claimed were only partially visible from one upper window and then barely a glimpse through the trees. The bedding was cheap and clumpy, the bath towels old and thin as paper. We didn’t try the hot tub, weren’t inspired to do so!
