A place to come back
This Old School building is a lovely little green gem. It has plenty of space and a warm, welcoming feeling. The place keeps its old charm but feels clean and well cared for. It’s surrounded by nature, which makes it peaceful and relaxing. The owner lives nearby and is very friendly. It’s a great place to stay if you want a quiet spot with character and a kind host.

Cette ancienne école est un logement pittoresque, bien situé, au calme, disposant de tout le nécessaire pour passer un excellent séjour. Tout est fonctionnel. Le fait de disposer de deux douches est un plus quand on voyage à plusieurs. Les lits sont confortables. Toutes les commodités se trouvent à moins de deux kms. On peut parquer deux voitures sur la propriété.
Rien, nous avons passé un bon séjour (3 jours, deux nuits).

Karakteristiek en rustig, al vraagt het huis om meer aandacht
We hebben een fijne week gehad in dit bijzondere vakantiehuis. Het is een mooie, karakteristieke plek in een oud schoolgebouw, gelegen in een rustige en groene omgeving. Een heerlijke basis om tot rust te komen en de omgeving te verkennen.
Wel willen we een paar kanttekeningen plaatsen. Bij aankomst misten we een aantal essentiële spullen zoals theedoeken en vuilniszakken. Ook was de wifi nauwelijks bruikbaar. Daarnaast waren er diverse gebreken aan het huis, bijvoorbeeld ramen die niet open- of dichtgingen zoals ze zouden moeten. Op den duur ga je dat toch merken en wordt het wat storend. Al met al hebben we het wel naar ons zin gehad, maar met wat meer aandacht voor onderhoud en basisvoorzieningen zou het verblijf een stuk comfortabeler zijn.

Een aanrader
Een geweldige locatie. Heerlijk rustig gelegen. In de avond zie je de herten lopen in de wei als je gaat wandelen. Prima bedden. Genoeg keuken uitrusting en een Bbq. Echt genieten. De brocante markt in Barvaux is een aanrader. Ook het klimpark de grotten van Hotton en het huren van een kano zou ik aanbevelen. Ook is er op vrijdag en zaterdag een grote brocante markt in Luik wat erg leuk is om te bezoeken. En vergeet niet te terassen in Durbuy. Waar ook een prima cafetaria zit op het plein met terras waar je betaalbaar kunt eten met het gezin. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad. En raden deze locatie iedereen aan.
