The house is beautiful and the little outside area and garden are lovely. The downsides are that the wifi is terrible & the house is adjacent to a busy road which has enormous trucks travelling to or from the port all through the night. While the accommodation is wonderful, you have to be a very heavy sleeper to endure the noise & shaking caused by the trucks.

Arriving at The Front Office was like walking into a Somerset Maugham novel with the large outdoor palms, the solid leather and wood furniture and the classical library all set in large generous open spaces. We loved the open-plan kitchen/ dining area which provided a perfect place to come together, and share the cooking.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this property for about a week. This is a beautiful property inside with a fantastic kitchen and large is fairly close to the walkway and centre of New Plymouth.( walking distance)The property management company was very responsive for any problems .It is on a State Highway en route to the Port and situated in a car park. The noise level is very high.
