The home was very nice and clean. The check out process was simple and not cumbersome unlike some other VRBO homes we have rented.. kuddos and thank you!. The only real complaint we had was when we attempted to contact the hosts thru the app, then ultimately via phone,…we were unsuccessful. The host had an AI interface for questions which really was not helpful for our issue. When attempting to contact via phone, my calls were not answered nor returned…. That was frustrating. The only other issue was the lack of air conditioning (which I’m sure there are other homes in the area that also lack AC). We understand that Beech Mountain summer temperatures are typically are cool in the evenings with daytime temperatures in the Mid 70s… unfortunately with climate change that is no longer the case. The home has ceiling fans, but with the temps we encountered during our stay, the fans just couldn’t quite keep up. Other than those two issues, the home was as described, beautiful, well appointed and in great shape.
