Satellite Beech House offers a modern twist on the traditional Beech Mountain getaway, combining a relaxed mountain atmosphere with a stylish interior. Nestled in the woods just seven minutes from Beech Mountain Resort, this two-level, three-bedroom cabin is perfect for easy days on the slopes, cozy evenings by the fire, and quality time together.
The lower level is where the fun begins, featuring a spacious family and game room centered around a full-size pool table. This level is ideal for families and groups, with two bunk rooms, each furnished with a twin-over-double bunk. Step outside to the lower patio to enjoy a soak in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit as the cool mountain air settles in.
Upstairs, Satellite Beech House takes on a more stylish ambiance. The main living area blends a retro mountain aesthetic with subtle industrial touches, creating a distinctive yet inviting space. An emerald-green sectional sofa anchors the room around a gas fireplace and a large TV, while the surrounding windows bring the wooded scenery indoors, offering glimpses of the mountains beyond. The kitchen is neat and thoughtfully arranged, opening up to a long raw-edge wood bar—ideal for morning coffee, après-ski snacks, or dinner conversations.
A queen bedroom is also conveniently located on the main level, with direct access to the bathroom. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms spread across two levels, Satellite Beech House provides ample space for everyone to enjoy while still maintaining a sense of togetherness.
Beech Mountain itself offers a range of outdoor activities. In winter, Beech Mountain Resort offers skiing and snowboarding, while the warmer months bring hiking, mountain biking, scenic drives, and other outdoor adventures. Downtown Beech Mountain is nearby, and the beautiful High Country provides access to attractions such as Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Boone—perfect for day trips and exploring.
Satellite Beech House is pet-friendly and includes streaming-only TV, Wi-Fi, baseboard heating throughout, and A/C wall units in both bedrooms (the main living areas are not air-conditioned). During the winter months (October through March), we strongly recommend using a 4-wheel- or all-wheel-drive vehicle, and chains may be necessary in snowy or icy conditions.
