The location
Old windows that let in water and noise.
Constant buzzing.
Hosts uncontactable when experiencing noise complaints in the block.

It was a lovely little flat! Brilliant for a long weekend. Comfortable bed in bedroom and good kitchen.
The sofa/bed in the sitting room wasn’t really usable as a sofa.. or a bed. It was completely stuck in between the two. So relaxing there wasn’t really possible

Good value and location ideal
Sofa not very comfy

A bit small but great for 2 or 3 people

location is good for central Aberdeen
it was very basic inside, they have been clever with the photos they have taken, doesn't really show how small it is.
Adding the historic bit is just a way of bumping the price up, someone notable to Aberdeen lived the the whole house once, long before it was turned into 6 flats.

The location of this flat was perfect for seeing the Tall Ships in the harbour & for getting to pubs & restaurants. Bare in mind- it is on the top floor of a 4-story building & there's no lift, so you do get your workout! But the views at the top were lovely, from both sides of the flat & the fully opening windows allowed the sea breeze to flow through - essential, as it gets warm during the summer & most places in the UK have no air con nor fans. The bed in the bedroom was a firm & comfy double (we didn't use the fold-flat bed in the lounge) & there were night stands & lamps on either side of the bed. There is only one outlet in the bedroom, but we'd brought a power strip with US/UK adapter, so we were prepared. We did notice a UK power strip in the water boiler closet, along with iron & board & hair dryer, so contingencies were met! Kitchen had all the utensils (only 3 forks, oddly), dishes & cookware needed, along with plenty of tea, coffee, sugar & some spices. You just need to grab groceries (including cooking oil or butter) & you're set. Good size fridge (not a dorm size!) & plenty of work space. Kitchen also had opening window (lovely breeze) & a washer/dryer. It took a little searching online to figure out the dryer buttons (it's an all-in-one unit that washes & dries) but I got it, so anything that didn't dry well on the drying rack could go back into the machine. It does take a long time to dry compared to a stand-alone dryer, so be prepared to wait. Washing pods were included, as well as dish soap & hand soap :) My only wish was that there were milk packets for tea/coffee, but we bought a small bottle of milk for our 3-night stay.
Bath had tub with shower over with electric shower (turn switch on in the hall!) & a bottle of hair & body wash was there, along with a small bar of hand soap. Towels included.
Small ask, but milk packets for tea & coffee
Couldn't get towel warmer on in bathroom
Everything else- great!

The apartment was comfortable, had all what we needed in it, and as a bonus there was tea coffee and milk left for us.
The bathroom could have been cleaner ie the bath side was visibly grimey. Appreciate not easy to clean because of the join but would have been super impressed with apartment if effort to clean was done!

The Apartment had a good location just 2 min walk away from the city center
A very cold apartment. The floor was freezing and you could feel the wind blowing through the poorly insulated windows. We had booked the apartment because it had three sleeping places but in the bedroom the bed had only one duvet. We tried to contact the rental Company to get an extra duvet but did not get any answer. The bed in the livingroom was very poor. Hard and really uncomfortable

The apartment was very nicely positioned in the city centre.
The shower leaked, no sheets for the bedding in the lounge. Only 2 forks and 3 mugs. The apartment just needed a little more care before letting.

Great location and well appointed . Amazing rooftop views of city.
3 floors up and no lift.
Few more cushions and a throw in sofa would have been nice

Location is very good. There was milk in the fridge and cereal provided. Comfortable bed in the bedroom. We had very nice stay.
Bathroom could be cleaner and sofa in the living room more comfortable. Internet could be better.

The flat was lovely, clean and warm when we arrived + the sofa bed had been made up. Little packets of cereal had been provided which was also fantastic.
Great location.
The worst WiFi connection I've ever experienced, it couldn't load even WhatsApp messages. When we messaged the owner through Booking there was no reply. Wouldn't recommend staying if you need to work (like we did) or if you don't have a UK data plan (and therefore need the WiFi).
Also, the shower didn't work (no water pressure and the only options were lukewarm cold or boiling hot water). Thankfully the taps for the bath worked better.

Location ideal for getting around as we travelled by coach and used local transport to get around Aberdeen but did a lot of walking as well.
As it was top floor about fifty stairs to climb tiring after a long day but kept as fit! Livingroom door creaked needed DW40.

Central location, great keeping in touch, clean comfortable
Key bit sticky on main front door

The apartment was very nice and well equipped, clean and big enough. There was a nice view, too. The complimentary cereals were tasty. It was also easy to reach. I strongly recommend and would come back again.
The windows could be more tight. The bed for kid (sofa) was a bit short to sleep on.

Location to places of interest and transit was great. The ability to make breakfast and dinner was also a big plus.
The internet was really poor. It was slow and kept cutting out which made it difficult to do research for travel planning.
Also, I didn't research about the accessibility of the flat. I don't recommend it if you have difficulty with stairs or if you have a stroller. It was really difficult going up and down carrying a sleeping toddler and the stroller.

location,
in attic with no lift - 60 stairs toget to apartment- I was not aware it was so high

the location right in the centre of Aberdeen, the bright and airy flat
the communal areas were a bit outdated

Location was great and very costly once inside.
stairway to get in very steep and not clean. also had some concerns re fire exit safety.

Very clean and well equipped apartment. Looks like it has all been refurbished pretty recently. Pretty spacious for a flat and nice and bright.
WiFi didn’t work very well and the sofa was a bit uncomfortable. Main issue was the amount of noise from the road nearby made it quite difficult to sleep - would benefit from another layer of glass or a thicker curtain being installed to help with the noise.

Clean and cozy apartment with a great view. For the money I've paid It has everything for a short stay.
I love the place but I noticed that the flat is not ventilated very well. The owner probably should open windows more often. On my first stay there was a terrible fishy smell when I arrived. (Someone who stayed before probably cooked fish) I needed to open all windows and leave the apartment to let the smell go away.

The view of the harbour was an added bonus, everywhere within walking distance. Apartment had every facility plus extras such as tea, coffee and cereals. Bed was extremely comfortable and apartment was spotless. Highly recommended.
A full length mirror and draught excluder under front door would be welcome additions. WiFi was a bit slow too. However, these would not prevent me rebooking.

For what you pay it’s perfect and Jamie the owner was so helpful and appeared in no time to help me with something. He will go the extra mile for you. High star 🌟

Location, cleanliness, cosy, views of harbour.
Not enough crockery or cutlery but we managed.

clean, great size rooms, nicely kitted out
ongoing smell from other flats below

Good location close to city centre. Note, there are no staff involved. You get the key from a lock box.
Top 3rd floor with no lift is a challenge if you are older and have heavy bags. The entry and stair well looks like a squat, but once inside all the facilities were ok. This is low end range accommodation, salvo furnishings, tired finishes, mouldy bath, tiny bedroom.
