It was very cute & cosy & was well equipped with everything you’d need for a short stay.

The fridge made a humming noise which was quite loud but that was the only thing I could say that I wasn’t so keen on.

Very well equipped property. Very comfortable. Rural, but an easy drive from the motorway.

The cottage was beautiful, set just inside the gate from the road. This had no impact on the privacy of the property. There is everything you need provided for you. I took tea towels and the such, but they were all there. There’s a lovely little log burner on the corner of the living area. I hope to return in the winter so we can use it. The welcome information is vey well written and easy to follow. I found it particularly useful for the hob. it was hot when we visited and had all the windows open when we were in. This was not a problem and did not affect the peaceful quietness we wanted. Even being by the road we did not hear the traffic that is about one car every 5 to 10 minutes. The outside area is set out beautifully and it was lovely to sit out and just pass the time. From the sofa you can see the Mendip hills and sometimes a Row deer or two wandering in the field opposite. For a couple wanting to explore the local area or just have a few nights away it’s a great place to stay. Something to look out for are the mice. Not actual mice, just fun ones.

really nice place. perfect for couple and dog. good location for local walks, seaside and Wells, Glasto etc.
