Wavering

The location was fabulous. The cottage small but perfectly formed!

The loo was terrible. Heaven help you if you have weak fingers, as the pressure and length of time you have to push the button is a bit of a joke.

It was very well presented in the middle of nowhere and had everything we wanted

Being 6 foot 4 I struggled with the low door frames, beams and ceiling.

Ideal for a couple on their own or with a child, this property is perfectly formed. It’s well laid out, comfortably furnished and the wood burner is a lovely addition on colder evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed and there is space outside to enjoy the sunshine. It a very peaceful location with pleasant walks up to Crooks Peak and Wavering Down and only a couple of miles to Cross for a choice of pubs. Nearby Axbridge is a gem of a town and it not far to Wells, Bristol and Glastonbury. Highly recommended.

Nothing, it was great.

Location is middle of nowhere (if you're a suburbanite!) but there are amazing walks right from the front door, so in fact ended up very happy with the location. And local pub (New Inn) is so good we couldn't get a table!

Property is fairly basically equipped. Blunt knives (no sharpener) etc, and it smelt a bit damp when we entered (soon banished by opening all the windows and doors), and a couple of windows in the road wall would make a world of difference as house was quite dark, but from recollection price was very reasonable, so excellent value for money and overall, very happy.
