We traveled to have meetings across the country and didn’t feel like driving home. Charles was amazing! The place was clean and in amazing condition! We stayed twice and will definitely stay again!

Nice home and friendly host. A few doors down from a market. Easy access to a major route to Irazu or San Jose. Cartago is a great place to access Irazu and Tapanti.
No hot shower, but that is pretty common in Costa Rica.

The house is very pretty. The owner is really nice and speaks some English. Got a free breakfast.
The addresses listed on booking and google maps is NOT CORRECT!! Put in “V3HJ+HQC, Cartago Province, Cartago, Costa Rica” to get there, or look up “Habitación Rústica #1” on google maps to get there.

Really nice owner and family, good kitchen and fridge to use, and nice bed. We felt like part of the family staying there. Can do laundry and both a dryer and plenty of space for hanging. We extended our stay by a couple of nights which was straightforward and handy. We also got to try some of their gallo pinto which was great :)
Walls were super thin so could hear the entire house, but everyone was quiet after 10 so wasn't a problem. Also, the smoking area is also where clothes are hung to dry which means our washed clothes smelled a bit like cigarettes.
