Himku Hotel - Adult Only

The hotel caters to 3 pax with proper beds and alot of space to move around. Pros: 1. Big comfortable beds. We had 1 queen bed and 1 single bed with a firm mattresses. 2. The room is spacious, bright and clean. The design is simple and lovely. I loved Himku's story. Please read the booklet. As we stayed, in a slightly bigger room, our room faced the garden instead of the moat. 3. We enjoyed waking up to new local snacks every morning outside our door. If you choose not to make up the room, they will leave a bottle of water and 1 toilet roll outside the door. 4. The staffs are very friendly and helped us to carry our luggages up and down as they is no lift. We are very thankful for their help. 5. Excellent location!!! They had a nice cafe downstairs with a friendly staff. The centralised location allowed us to walk everywhere. There are many wonderful cafes, restaurants, spas around the vincinity. Its about 15mins ride from the airport. We were super near to the Thapae Gate and the Sunday night market too. Cons: 1. The pillows were too soft for us which caused neck ached throughout the night. 2. We had a balcony which we liked. You can even see a glimpse of the mountain. Unfortunately, we always smell something foul at the balcony. In fact, we would also smell it when we return to the room. Thankfully, the smell somewhat disappears once the ac is on. Based on our experience, we feel that the smell was coming from another building and has nothing to do with the hotel per se. (See image) Honestly, we loved the hotel!! Highly recommended!!! We would love to be back.:)

The room is spacious and sparkling clean, love the interior design and concept. Awesome view from our balcony too! The staff are very helpful always taking the initiative to assist in one way or another (esp with the luggage since there's no lift). The hotel offer a surprise (thai local snack) every morning right outside the doorstep. Hotel location is just a stone throw away from Tha Phea Gate, just right opposite old town. Easily accessible to most places by foot if you're willing to walk. It have been an awesome and comfortable stay, will definitely book again if I'm visiting Chiang Mai!

- Soon as we finalized our booking. Himku reached out to welcome us - They even provided us with tour and weather info that helped us better prepared our trip - Our room had a view of the street, the canal and the mountain in the horizon. - At first, we were worried that street traffic and the bars across the canal might be noisy in the night. Luckily, the double glass at the balcony and room,

great location, clean, modern, comfortable
