Harbour Hella Inn

Regardless of the fact that it was a shared complex with many others it’s still a very much organized, clean and private space.

Finding the location and getting accustomed to the self check in process was a bit of a challenge. I got to the venue the first day and had to ask around to eventually find out what floor it was on. Then I had to contact the property owner via this medium to take me through the self check in process. A little bit more precision in the communications on there listings would be super helpful

The location

Having a private shower was nice, however, the hot water is off between 11pm to 8am, meaning either cold shower or no shower before an early morning departure, check-in was almost easy, except that they sent me the wrong code for the front door and I had to wait for half an hour for a building resident to let me in

The room was not particularly clean and the bed was concaved in the middle. One neighbour was loud late into the night and smoked cigarettes which I could smell strongly in my room. Construction on the building meant that balcony was not accessible and the gorgeous 15th-floor view over the harbour was obstructed. Getting the wrong code for the door and not being able to access the building was a huge hassle after a long day of travel.
