An oceanfront home, it is situated on Old Lighthouse Road and is our closest detached house to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and provides an unequaled blend of luxury and seclusion. With a secluded beach right out front and stretches of the same to the north and south, there is only a 200-yard walk south between the surf and dunes - along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the OBX - that will take you to the original Cape Hatteras lighthouse location.
All new for 2024, this home offers new flooring throughout the home. Four generous bedrooms and laundry and nursery/reading room make up the first level - including a six-person hot tub on the oceanfront lower deck. Guests will love the full top floor main level featuring high cathedral ceilings with incredible views. Open kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and half bath accommodate large families comfortably. The sunny loft offers quiet solitude and stellar views overlooking the main floor, the ocean, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and the charming Buxton beach community. Things to Know
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.
Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Overall, we had a great experience. The house was clean and very well taken care of. Beach access was easy. The only issue we experienced was that we were not notified at check in or check out that we had to go to the club house to get and return the keys so I had to reach out to customer service to find that information.

Hot tub was nice. Lots of room. Lots of ocean front rooms and views. Beach access from the house was difficult and sometimes impossible. No place to hookup the hammock.
