Velmora Suites

I liked that it was clean and that the property was modern, particularly the Jacuzzi bath

I found it slightly frustrating that I couldn’t get a hold of the company until the day of. I phoned and emailed several times prior and had no response. We were travelling from the highlands of Scotland so it would have been good to received what was necessary before our travel. However when we were contacted by Velmora suites the woman was lovely that we spoke to ☺️

Beautiful property, close to the city.

The host asks for an EXTRA deposit, by messaging off the platform. This is against Booking.com rules and therefore should be acknowledged. The deposit is £100 and having already paid for the stay (with no refunds), it’s quite a scummy tactic.

Apartments were absolutely gorgeous! Hidden gem especially for the area it was in… pleasantly suprised the host was very fast with responses, was easy to check in and out. Very clean… smells amazing from the moment u walk in. The lighting 10/10 and the fact you can change them all , there weren’t no hidden charges as other reviews claimed? Hot tub was perfect we even put some roses in and enjoyed the bathroom tv too I wasn’t aware we would get one so was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I got a massive discount having a genius on booking.com I do think I’d go back and try the other apartments.

Personally nothing much the hosts can do. The area isn’t great it had a bad atmosphere at night a feeling of being unsafe kind of (being out of the property) although the apartments have cameras all over so helps. Also with it being a heat wave maybe something could be done in the future about some air con as we were boiling but having a cool bath and the fan worked a treat! Other than that absolutely great.
