Casita en PEDREGALEJO ( una sola planta)

Gloria was a lovely host and very quickly responded to any questions we had. The ground floor apartment we stayed in was bright and clean. The shower shown in the pictures has now been replaced by a new very powerful shower. Very invigorating. Gloria supplied large towels as well which is not always the case with some hosts. The apartment is very near to a large supermarket - a 5 minute walk - which was a bonus as we did not have a car. Buses to Malaga Town Centre are super frequent and journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The beach is about 10 minute walk - but I am a really slow walker. And there are cafes and restaurants lining the beach all the way up to El Palo. SO a wonderful holiday and a great accommodation.

I used to live close to here, so I was keen to rent this apartment for a few days. It is extremely well-maintained, modern and very comfortable for a solo traveller, a couple, or a couple with a child. The host is charming, attentive and eager to please. There is loads of storage space in the bedrooms and also the kitchen. At the rear of the property there is a very private and enclosed patio accessed through both bedrooms. It is a 3-minute walk to the bus stop from where the numbers 3 and 11 buses run every few minutes to take you into Malaga centre, even at night. It is an 8-minute walk to the promenade and beaches. Dozens of very reasonably priced restaurants (mainly seafood) and a few bars line the promenade. Pedregalejo and El Palo are favourite haunts for the Malagueños, so always plenty of people around. It is a super apartment in a super location, don’t be put off by the distance to the town centre because the bus service is fantastic.

No dedicated parking space, and unlikely to find one during busy periods. If I was being picky I would say that if you wanted to cook dinner, a few oven dishes would help. There is no dining table, just a large worktop and three high stools. There is a small terrace at the front, but it is a bit nousy, as is the lounge if the windows are open. The bedrooms are at the rear, and these are quiet. The hand-held shower did not work, but the fixed overhead shower was working well.
