Everything I wanted from a small, cosy and remote cottage

The location was beautiful and quiet with a great view. We arrived in a very cosy and warm house, which was really nice. All facilities worked properly and the kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed. The animals were lovely :)

It's just a curtain separating the bathroom from the rest of the house (which was fine for us, but may be uncomfortable for some people) The ladder to the bedroom is quite steep, which may pose problems for older people/ people with inhibited mobility.

Exceptional

We loved staying in Le Four à Pain. The interior was very cosy and we really enjoyed the nature and all the animals. We especially enjoyed the company of the very sweet donkey. We regretted not having booked the house for more days. Would definitely recommend. It's the perfect place to relax.

Zeer rustig gezellig en charmant verblijf in een hele mooie omgeving.

Het huisje is zeer rustig gelegen op een boerderij. Dieren lopen er rond en een hele lieve hond. Mooi uitzicht. De kachel was fantastisch.

Dat we maar voor 2 nachten geboekt hadden.

Verblijf was goed, genoten van de omgeving.

De ligging, het uitzicht, charmant klein huisje, heel rustig, de dieren in de weide en Donut de hond. Ruime badkamer met inloopdouche.

Geen mapje met info omtrent wifi-code, hoe de TV werkt (was enkel via Internet, geen kanaaltv). wifi wat traag, viel soms uit. De slaapruimte was enkel via smalle ladder bereikbaar, voor minder mobiele mensen misschien wat moeilijk. Geen nachtkastje of bankje. Een microgolf zou ook leuk zijn.

De omgeving en de dieren

Het ontvangst, het bed, de stank. Verschrikkelijk gewoon. 2 nachten geboekt maar na 1 nacht weggegaan. Gierende banden!

Knus en gezellig huisje met geweldig uitzicht over de dierenweide. Fijne houtkachel.

Top locatie, veel rust!

Prachtige locatie, je kunt er echt tot rust komen. Fijn huisje en genoeg privacy en ruimte buiten om lekker te ontbijten en te bbqen en in de zon te liggen.

Puntje van feedback is dat het keukengerei erg oud was, met het koken bleef alles aan de pannen plakken en de deksels kwamen niet overeen met de pannen/potten, ik miste een broodmes en de overige messen waren erg bot. Afwas water ook veelal koud. Communicatie met de host matig, reageerde dag van aankomst op een vraag die ik een week ervoor had gesteld. Misschien nog toevoegen aan de accommodatie: vliegen mepper en parasol voor buiten.

Communicatie met de host was ronduit slecht; nam haar telefoon niet aan en reageerde niet op mails of sms

L'environnement style 'à la ferme'. La proximité des animaux sympa.

Une échelle pour "grimper" sur la mezzanine, inaccessible pour l'un d'entre nous La "chambre" mezzanine si basse que même petit, on ne s'y tient pas debout Pas de clé ! Le gîte est ouvert. Vous partez pour une balade, sans pouvoir fermer la porte du gîte à clé. Aucun accueil. Aucune réponse à nos coups de fil ou message sur Booking Les photos qui ne donnent pas une idée correcte pour son accès à la "chambre".

Leuk en gezellig huisje voor 2

Een ongelofelijk mooie omgeving en het huisje is mooi ingericht. Een leuk terras + de hond en de ezel die u als het ware gezelschap houden. Er zijn tal van wandelmogelijkheden die starten aan de deur. We hebben er van genoten!

De douchesproeier valt continue van de muur waarbij de slang dan nog eens telkens los schiet

De rust en stilte

Enig minpuntje is de douchekop die niet meer blijft hangen. Jammer genoeg een systeem die snel kapot gaat (vriendin heeft dezelfde douchekop thuis en zelfde probleem)

Un moment de sérénité!

Endroit calme, sympathique vue sur les champs et l'âne. Petite maisonnette très mignonne et bien décorée avec le feu de bois magique en période de froid.

Accès à la ferme pas facile dans le noir, mais heureusement les propriétaires sont disponibles par téléphone. Accès à la mezzanine un peu compliqué via une échelle = pas recommandé pour tout le monde.
