Fold Cottage, Outgate near Ambleside

The cottage is beautiful and in a perfect location. The accommodation was very comfortable. I loved the bed and the bathroom was lovely. It’s very convenient for the local pub, the Outgate Inn and there is also the option of the Drunken Duck up the road, both of which I visited. I loved the garden which was very much to my taste and it was very relaxing to sit out there. My dogs enjoyed sitting out in the garden and there are some lovely walks to be enjoyed straight from the cottage

There’s not really anything I didn’t like. The only point I can think of is that it’s a shame that the underfloor is not adjustable. It would be very welcome if the weather was cold and wet but it seems a waste of energy having to leave the door and window open.
