Peace, rest, relaxation, luxury, and a family atmosphere—these are the best descriptions of my stay

The villa is very well located, and despite its proximity to the sea, the views are breathtaking. It boasts a beautifully landscaped garden, tasteful interiors, two bathrooms, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi. The pool is very large and clean – the pool was serviced twice a week. What really caught our attention was the absolute silence. It's practically silent outside 24/7. There are no parties, shouting, or loud music, and only the occasional car passes by. I had the impression that my children were the loudest on the entire slope in the pool. There are no bugs in the building, and we didn't experience any mosquitoes outside. In the evenings, cute lizards appeared on the facade, keeping order. A huge plus is the excellent contact with the owner. Overall, the owner and staff are incredibly kind and helpful!

Don't take this as a negative review, but be aware that access to the villa requires some driving skills. The driveway is steep, and the street is winding and narrow. A car with a low engine and crowded vehicles may have trouble getting up there. Similarly, for less experienced drivers, I recommend an automatic transmission.

We had a terrible vacation at Dulce Carlota. It's not a villa as advertised, but an apartment within a villa where the owner herself lives on the ground floor. Upon arrival, we were surprised by additional cleaning costs of €90. Throughout our stay, we were constantly bothered by the owner, who repeatedly complained that we were using the air conditioning too often. According to her, we were only allowed to use the air conditioning at night, or else we would incur extra charges. Upon checkout, the owner withheld a portion of our security deposit and demanded that we leave the villa in a very intimidating manner. In the end, we had to involve the police. The villa is located next to a construction site where apartments are being built. This was not visible in the photos, and the owner did not inform us about it. We asked the owner for an invoice, but she said it wasn't possible. Instead, we received a handwritten letter as an invoice. Overall, a terrible experience. We were here with two families with small children and will not stay here again.

it was like home from home, small details were very good; Restruant was around the corner, good food and great for a glass of wine and the staff were superb!

supermarket was quite far away, jacuzzi/hot tub was not available when we arrived.
