Beautifully Converted Chapel

The conversion was lovely. We have stayed in the area many times and it is idyllic

Only negative was the cleanliness of the kitchen (didn’t look like it had been cleaned since previous guests left/ stained tea towels and dish cloths etc) I am not house proud but had to clean kitchen before use.

Peaceful location and lovely walks. A good sized home with all facilities needed. Loved the mezzanine, great space for reading.

Lovely place to stay, very quiet and comfortable.

The location was great v central and easy to get to the beach and Bodmin moor. Nice pubs nearby.

We were disappointed by the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property. It was extremely tired and run down and in desperate need of a refresh. The outside was also a mess, rubbish left from the last guests, weeds everywhere and generally just v run down to the point that some of the blinds on the skylights were pulled down cause the windows were so filthy. It felt like the owners care v little about the experience of their guests and are just keen to line their pockets with a hugely inflated weekly rental price. It could be a great place but the hosts need to actually visit the property rather than relying on others to maintain it. A welcome basket would have been nice.
