The estate was beautiful and peaceful, that we truly appreciated. The host was responsive and provided the access codes on time, which made check-in smooth. The rules of the estate were clearly made available in the unit, and everything was clean and well-kept when we arrived. We ensured that we left the unit clean upon departure, as we found it.

You are required to pay R1000.00 refundable for security cover purposes. We stayed in the unit for a few days and had a generally okay experience, but there were a few issues that affected our comfort. The bed linen in one of the rooms was not ideal an old faded coloured duvet cover that didn’t close properly, causing the inner duvet to slip out constantly. I would recommend that standard white linen be used for all bedding to ensure consistency and cleanliness. During our stay, a tenant in the building reportedly complained about noise from our unit, but we did not play any music or host any gatherings. When we asked the security for clarity, they were unable to specify the nature of the noise, which left us feeling unfairly accused. Additionally, after we returned from our trip, we were informed that we had broken a side lamp something we were completely unaware of . We mainly used the unit to shower and sleep, and were careful throughout our stay, so this was quite surprising. But we paid for it from the refundable R1000.00 Overall, while the place served its purpose, these concerns did affect our experience and we hope they will be taken into account for future guests.
