CASA RURAL TISALAYA

Se retrouver dans une finca, au milieu des vignes, remarquablement aménagée, c’était un vrai bonheur. On est au calme, hors du temps, dans une atmosphère sereine et dans un espace très confortable. La finca rappelle l’histoire de l’île, c’est une maison typique, au calme et confortable. Et aussi tellement agréable d’être accueilli avec une cuisine pleine de petites attentions gourmandes.

Sehr kalt. Nur in der warmen Jahreszeit würden wir dort wieder wohnen wollen. Viel altes Gerät steht herum... Keine wirklich freie Sicht, beidseits stehen Gebäude. Ungesicherte Treppe zu den Schlafräumen.

The house is located in an incredibly calm and quiet spot in the middle of the island, surrounded by volcanoes — a truly special and peaceful setting. The property itself is very spacious; we were only three people, but the house can comfortably accommodate many more. There is plenty of space to relax. The kitchen is very well equipped, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. Despite the secluded feeling, the location is very convenient — everything around the island is easy to reach by car. Overall, it’s a very easygoing place and feels like a perfect retreat.

The house is advertised as having heating, but in reality it was quite limited. There is only a small wood stove in the main living room, which was not easy to use properly, especially with the slightly humid wood provided. As a result, only the living room got warm, while the bedrooms stayed around 17–18°C, which felt quite chilly for this time of year. Additionally, the house felt quite humid during our stay. Some wardrobes and kitchen shelves had a musty smell, likely due to the season. Because of this, I wouldn’t choose this property again in January. However, I can easily imagine that this house is absolutely fantastic in summer.

The finca is beautiful, fully equipped with whatever you might need, super clean and tidy and located in the middle of endless vineyards. The place is really quite, the best if you want to relax and stay away from noise and people. Anyway, main island attractions can be easily reached by car in short time. The host Jesús is always available to help and give advise. Strongly recommended!
