Make your way up the charming porch steps and enter the beautiful historic home via the keyless smart lock and step into the grand foyer with a long bench seat and handy coat hooks so you can get everyone comfortable, organized and ready to relax.



The sun-filled living area offers room for the whole family with a large modular sofa and an abundance of toys, games, books and a big screen Roku TV perfect for movie nights snuggled up together on the lounge.



Step through into the stately kitchen that comes fully equipped with all the cooking basics you need to cook up pancakes in the morning through to a 3 course meal for the group at night then eat together at the stylish table set for eight and a half with a highchair for the little one.



Coffee enthusiasts with love the selection on offer at the fully stocked coffee station where you can brew up a fresh pot or use the pod machine and settle into the second living room on the relaxing armchairs and catch up with friends.

- Outdoor areas off-limits after 10pm

- Nothing can be taped, pinned, or attached to walls, ceilings or hung from the lighting fixtures. Absolutely no glitter or confetti.

The problem with our stay was that the home did not have an adequate heating system, so the first floor was far too cold to enjoy (51 degrees in the evening) and heat was far too hot in the second floor bedrooms (probably over 80). This was discussed at length via multiple message with the host who was very responsive and helpful. She sent an emergency HVAC tech to the house on Christmas day, who diagnosed the problem as having only one heating zone so the downstairs was uncomfortably cold and all the heat was being pushed to the second floor which was far too hot. Even with closing down the upstairs registers, he was not able to balance the system. The host and manager were extremely helpful and generous in providing a substantial refund since we had to find other accommodations to stay with family in St Louis during the day and evenings, returning only at night to sleep. This was compounded by an unfortunate far below-normal cold spell, complicated by the heating zone issue which I was told would be addressed in the future. Kristin, our host, was wonderful to deal with and I was very pleased with the quality, cleanliness, and appearance of the home. This was an unfortunate situation for all, and Kristin was very helpful and accommodating in helping us out of a difficult situation. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again, once the HVAC system is changed to a two zone system.
