About this house rental
Welcome to Views on Edinburgh, nestled high on Queenstown Hill and overlooking the vibrant hues of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains, this is a stand-out home where every room offers a truly incredible view!
VIEWS:
The home has been brilliantly designed and constructed to maximise its location and spectacular views. Admire the landscapes from every room of the house, which showcase the famous Remarkable Mountain range, Lake Wakatipu, Bayonet Peak, Cecil Peak and Walter Peak. Stunning sunsets will be guaranteed here!
LOCATION:
A fantastic location on Queenstown Hill, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown yet just a quick three-minute drive to get there. This peaceful address provides a sense of luxury and relaxation. Guests are also just an eight-minute drive from the International Airport and for winter guests, Coronet Peak ski field is an easy 23-minute drive away.
STYLE:
This 363 square metre modern home exudes style and luxury. If you can take your eyes away from the alpine outlook, you will quickly appreciate the carefully selected pieces of furniture and the fabulous light-filled rooms. The main living area has a convenient open plan concept, and there so many additional rooms and spaces for guests to spread out.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
The master bedroom on the main level, includes a private balcony, Smart TV, large walk-in-wardrobe and a luxurious ensuite with separate shower and a bath with mountain views. Downstairs, bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 all offer stunning lake views as well. Bedroom 2 has a Smart TV, ensuite and a shared balcony with Bedroom 3. The bathroom for Bedroom 3 is directly across the hall. Bedroom 4 has a walk-through-wardrobe and ensuite with shower. There is also a guest toilet on the main living level. The bathrooms have heated towel rails, hair dryers, luxury toiletries and underfloor heating.

LIVING AREAS:
The main living is a light and bright space with lofty ceilings and multiple seating areas to relax and admire the never-ending views. Extra-large floor to ceiling windows line the whole top level of the home. There is a separate media room with a cosy lounge suite and an elegant gas fireplace. There is also a children’s nook on the lower level with a desk and books. This home certainly provides space and entertainment for everyone!
KITCHEN & DINING:
A fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen with induction cooktop and the all-important coffee machine. There is bar stool seating and a dining table that seats 8 with an incredible outlook. Sliding glass doors surround two sides of the dining area, which provides lovely fresh air and a nice flow to the outdoor area.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
Step outside from the main living area to a spacious entertainers’ deck with a BBQ, dining table and ‘Hot Spring’ spa pool. Three of the bedrooms open to balconies, again designed to make the most of this home’s amazing setting.
OTHER PRACTICALITIES:
Other conveniences and comforts include an office, garage with internal access and a ping pong table, full laundry facilities, and underfloor heating throughout.
RATES, INCLUSIONS & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, spa pool valet, premium linen and for a maximum of eight guests. A departure clean fee of NZ$595 applies. Bookings of 8 nights or more receive a complimentary mid-stay service with fresh towels. (Bed linen change not included; upgrade to a full linen change is available for $200 including GST). Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods.
PLEASE NOTE:
Credit card fees are non-refundable. This is important to be aware of if you choose to pay your balance ahead of the due date.

- Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
- Views on Edinburgh is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.
- Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. As per Resource Consent with council, quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.
- We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation hold in addition to the total booking price. (n/a to Airbnb bookings).
- A standard exit clean is included with your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state (clear and tidy). Charges may apply for loss of keys, excessive rubbish, sorting contaminated rubbish/recycling, excessive cleaning or damage to the property for example.
- Charges may also apply for travel costs and management/staff time if for example, having to make a dump run, coordination of tradesman/repairs, additional property visits, shop for replacements, and so forth.

Views on Edinburgh surpassed all expectations, providing an unparalleled experience for our family group of six adults and two teens. Every morning, we were greeted by the most spectacular sunrise, casting a golden hue over the landscape and setting the tone for a day of adventure and relaxation. The location offers breathtaking views in every room, of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables, while the property itself is a masterpiece of design, luxury, and comfort. The fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and exquisite outdoor spaces exceeded our expectations. The spacious layout easily accommodated our group, allowing everyone to enjoy their privacy while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The proximity to Queenstown's attractions made our stay even more enjoyable.
If you're seeking a haven of luxury, beauty, and tranquility in Queenstown, Views on Edinburgh is an absolute must. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

The photos of this property do not do it justice. When you first walk through the front door the view is nothing short of breathtaking! and that impression remains during your stay as the lake and mountains get shrouded in cloud or sunshine.
The house amenities are top shelf; large rooms, comfortable beds (all with views!), warm environment during our winter stay, in summary really comfortable.
The Relax team were great, nothing too difficult to organise to make our stay a memorable and positive one.
