About this house rental
You can't help but be impressed with the 180 degree panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu from Matterhorn Lodge. From the Remarkable Mountains to Walter Peak and beyond, Matterhorn Lodge was carefully positioned to take in sun and the best views the area.
You can't help but be impressed with the 180 degree panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu from Matterhorn Lodge.
From the Remarkable Mountains to Walter Peak and beyond, Matterhorn Lodge was carefully positioned to take in sun and the best view the area can offer. Located nearby central Queenstown's restaurants, cafes, parks and in close proximity to the world renowned ski fields and golf courses.
Boasting five double bedrooms, all with stunning views and some with private decks on the lakeside, three bathrooms and a separate lounge providing ample room for all of the family and friends.
There is a beautifully appointed kitchen/dining and family room which opens to a north west facing patio area for barbeques, entertaining and watching the sunsets. There is also a large separate utility/laundry area.
All this is brilliantly warm in the winter with efficient diesel radiators and a gas fire in the lounge.
This is the perfect escape for extended family, groups of friends or retreats.
A New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty Luxury Rental Homes representative will meet you at the property on arrival to orientate you with the house and to handover the keys.
There is an off-site property manager available to answer any queries regarding this property.
We would recommend renting a car on your visit to Queenstown as it is definitely the easiest way to get around town and explore everything that Queenstown has to offer.
There are multiple car rental agencies such as Budget, Eurocar and Thrifty located at Queenstown Airport.
Minimum stay 3 nights, 5 night minimum stay during Peak seasons.
A standard departure cleaning charge has been built into your nightly rental.
Bookings made for 7 nights or more will receive one complimentary mid-stay clean per week (basic clean plus linen change).
Quiet time between 10pm and 7am.

We are two families of five with mainly primary aged children. The house was the perfect size for us all to relax in and feel spacious.
