About this chalet rental
The holiday chalet “Im Stadl” is situated in a quiet rural area in the Passeier Valley (Val Passiria) near Merano (Meran) and combines traditional Tyrolse style with modernity. It is ideal for relaxing family holidays in the beautiful scenery of South Tyrol. The 100 m² holiday home with spruce furniture consists of a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, cable/satellite television, a washing machine, a dryer (for a charge), a ski storage, a baby cot, a children’s bed and a highchair (on request). After a long day in the outdoors, you can relax and recharge in the private indoor sauna, while the private outdoor area with a garden also comprises a covered terrace with seating furniture, loungers and nice views over the meadows and mountains of the valley, where you can have breakfast, relax or spend the evenings. The chalet is a great starting point for hikes or cycling tours of various levels of difficulty and many other sporting activities and cultural experiences. Experience the natural paradise with its authentic farms, its warm and open people and the unspoilt alpine landscape. The closest supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy and several restaurants can be found in the village of St. Martin, a 4-minute drive (2.3 km) away. A cable car, which takes you to the tops of the high alpine Hirzer area with fantastic views over the valley is 13.5 km (a 21-minute drive) away, the Meran 2000 skiing area is 17 km or a 25-minute drive away, and the famous “Pfelders” skiing area lies a32-minute drive (24 km) from the holiday home. You can also play golf at Golfclub Passeier, 3.8 km or an 8-minute drive away. The city of Merano (Meran), well-known for its spa resorts and architectural beauty, is located a 20-minute drive (14 km) from the chalet and also invites you to go shopping or explore the many great restaurants serving local cuisine. South Tyrol’s capital Bolzano (Bozen) lies 45 km (a 50-minute drive) southeast of the property.
