Check-in was pretty easy. Security met with us upon arrival to review passport documents.they provide 24 hour security. The unit is walking distance to parks and restaurants. The area is nice because of the trees and walking paths along Amsterdam. The unit was quite sizable (2 Bed, 2 Bath unit) so we were comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances. We didn't cook, so I didn't check for spices, etc.

We had issues with noise...there was construction going on next door. The workers start at 8am and continue working until the evening hours. We were not advised ahead of time that there would be construction nearby. Additionally, the toilets barely flush. One of them backed up and it took a while for the building manager to respond. They eventually sent a housekeeper to clean up. We were right above the front door of the property, and could hear the doorbell ringing all day/night. Because of the neighborhood and trees, the unit gets pretty dark late afternoon. There were lots of 3-way light switches that drove us crazy, and the lighting in the bathrooms are subpar.

Location was wonderful! Neighborhood was very walkable with lots of incredible restaurants and bars! The parks near the apartment were also so beautiful. The layout of the Penthouse with Terrace was great, too. It comfortably fit 6 people.

I didn’t realize that the king sized bed was a loft style and didn’t have a door until we got there, but it did not bother me or the group! It also was quite dusty underneath the rug in the living room, but we only noticed it because we pulled it back randomly. Another downside is that there is no elevator on the property and our apartment was on the top floor (4th floor).

The place is close to all the amenities.

Disappointing stay, especially for the price and for a place advertised as luxury. The apartment needs updating, the couch was saggy and uncomfortable, and the towels were stained with a musty smell. Not worth the cost for a three-day stay.
