From the moment you arrive at the Eagles Nest base area lodging, perched high on a beautiful ridge across from Crested Butte Mountain, all of the cares and worries of your everyday life will disappear into the surrounding scenery. Upon arrival at the lovely townhome, splendid views will invite you right up to the front door.
Boasting 1,191 square feet of wonderfully appointed living space, this home provides just the right amount of space for you and your travel companions to spread out and enjoy quality time together.
From the comfy couch and leather chair in the living area beckoning you to kick back, relax and watch the large flat screen TV or sit by the wood burning fireplace (wood provided), during your downtime, to the fully equipped kitchen, containing everything you need to cook up a tasty masterpiece, this townhome truly has everything you could ever want in a home away from home! The comforts of home continue up the stairs and into the bedrooms, where cozy beds await to give you many great nights of sleep.
The Master bedroom has a King Bed with adjoining Bath with shower/tub combination and a private Balcony to watch the sunrise! The lovely Queen Bedroom with windows to the back of the complex with peaceful, Sunny exposure is down the hall separated by a Full shared Bath with tub/shower combo. Up the stairs to the third bedroom with two twin beds and Lots of Light, truly the "Eagles Nest"

Check-in was easy - the door code was provided in advance. Eagle’s Nest is a great condo building with beautiful views and easy access to the mountain. The unit was clean and spacious, and we loved our time there!

We had a great stay !! The owner was great with everything we asked and was so accommodating. We take this trip every year around the same time and have made many. Not very many places are actually added to the “We would stay here again” list, but this one sure does !!

We did enjoy our stay. However, many of the towels and one bed was soaking wet when we arrived. One of the beds could not be slept in the first night (which we didn’t discover until late). We asked for new towels and they were brought over promptly. There also wasn’t dishwasher liquid to use the dishwasher. They ask for you to clean the dishes, but didn’t provide the soap. Great location, convenient and other than the little mishaps I would recommend, but can’t give more than 3 stars.
