This self catering cottage was located in a quiet village adjacent to th local pub. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had all the facilities you could require. The bed was very comfortable.

Nothing to complain about at all

Barningham is a very quiet location and also very pretty. The accommodation is next door to The Milbank Arms pub which is an excellant pub and served good food. The pub was quiet during our stay which was over a bank holiday and is probably due to the fact that Barningham is off the beaten track. You can walk up to the moors and surrounding countyside from the front door. Parking was easy.

There was no garden just a small area with a wooden pub-style bench . The back of the cottage looked out over other pub tables and the pub kitchen area. This gave a feeling of being over looked when in the kitchen or rear bedroom. The furniture was not especially comfortable particularly the chairs around the kitchen table. The hot water was was scalding hot. The bathroom wall showed signs of damp. But none of the above would stop us returning for another stay.

Lovely village! Beautiful dinner in the pub next door!
