Location was perfect. Loved being at the lake

Carpet in hallways are old and smell damp. Pool was freezing cold and we could not go. Hot tub was broken at the time also.

This place is so great. Classic ski lodge that has thought of all the little things, like ski lockers downstairs and plenty of hooks throughout the unit, enough coffee to get you going at least your first day and plenty of pillows. Bed was comfortable and pull-out couch is an easy assemble. The view of the lake/mountain at Lakeshore is unreal and we loved people watching as they enjoyed the ice. Super close to skiing where we found parking easily, though the shuttle looks super convenient if you’re more patient than us. A great value and certainly a place we’ll consider booking again.

Be sure to push to confirm hot tub/amenity availability during Covid if that’s a big deal for you. Only bummer was that was closed for us, though we’ve seen many other areas manage it fine. Outside SCMR’s control though, as the spa is managed by an HOA, and this property management did a fantastic job of communicating their apologies to us for our inconvenience when we realized we wouldn’t have a hot tub during our stay. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, in the end, and we really loved this property.
