---- HEATED INDOOR SWIMMING POOL IN SERVICE FROM APRIL TO MID-OCTOBER ----
The Domaine de La Girardière, a Vendée property of character is the ideal place to meet with family or friends. Extending over 14 ha of parkland, woods and meadows punctuated by large alleys, the property is a refuge of biodiversity (LPO refuge label). The Logis des Ponnes, with its large living room, the Logis de l'Ecuyer and the Orangerie welcome you for a comfortable stay, quiet, in the middle of nature, with a large indoor swimming pool and close to many activities.
The three houses are classified 3 *** and offer a total surface area of 340 m2.
They can accommodate up to 20 people (8 rooms for 2 people - one of which is on the mezzanine - and a room for 4 people).
We allow parties and parties between residents, i.e. without outside guests. The neighbors are very far away, so there is no risk of disturbing them.
For your comfort, our rates are "All Inclusive": household linen (sheets, towels, bath mats and dish towels), end-of-stay cleaning and all charges (water, electricity, Wi-Fi, heating) are included.
When you leave, the houses must be returned to a state of normal use, the furniture in its original place, the beds unmade and the dishes clean and tidy.
Your stay runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, which is 2 nights and 2 full days for a normal weekend.
The Logis des Ponnes has a large dining room and a large kitchen. Its beautiful and large arbour welcomes the whole group, day and night.
In cold weather, the houses are heated by a closed fireplace, two stoves and a fireplace complemented by electric radiators. Firewood is provided. We ask our travelers to commit to an eco-responsible attitude, when they validate the house rules, by booking.
The washing machine is located in a separate room located near the houses.
We offer the following optional services:
1- Breakfast: 10 € TTC*/ person / day (to be booked at least 48 hours before your arrival).
2- Rental of a tent (6 m x 3 m): 180 € TTC** for the stay (to be booked at least one week before your arrival)

You have access to a large swimming pool (13.5 m x 5 m) heated and covered, between 10 am and 8 pm (flexible hours), from April to mid-October (it is not in service the rest of the year). It is very pleasant to swim there from April and also in the off-season because its shelter is large and retains the heat perfectly. When the sun shines, the pool is completely uncovered and you can then swim in a magnificent green setting.
Your pets are welcome, under the following conditions: 1- they must be declared at the time of booking, for insurance, 2- dogs must stay on the first floor of the houses (no access to the rooms), 3- their owner(s) make sure that they bark as little as possible, 4- animals are not allowed in the pool and its surroundings.
A large heated swimming pool of 13.5 m x 5 is at your disposal, from April to mid-October (it is not in use the rest of the year), between 10 am and 8 pm (flexible hours). Access to the entire Domaine de La Girardière is free (park, woods, meadows).
The three houses are located at a distance of between 10 and 30 m from each other. We ourselves live in the castle of La Girardière, which is further away and whose private part is opposite the gîtes.
The roads are more than 500 m away and the calm is absolute. It is not uncommon to see deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls and many other birds depending on the season.
The banks of the Yon are accessible directly on foot from the hamlet of La Girardière: they offer a pleasant walk in all seasons and in summer, they allow you to cool off in the shade of the trees, with your feet
