Domaine Moulin la Place, 20m swimming pool, Jacuzzi, 7ha park

Many thanks to Thierry and Betty for a truly memorable stay. We stayed at this beautiful mill in August 2016 for two weeks. We were two sets of grandparents and two families, comprising 6 children ranging between 2 and 10 years old. The accommodation is exceptional. Clean and well-equipped. Being able to use the large kitchen in the centre of the property was great as it meant we could all cook and eat together both inside and outside whatever the weather. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are excellent and provided many hours of entertainment for everyone. The kids particularly enjoyed being able to have a night swim. The outside area is huge. There are lots of communal spaces as well as quieter spots to slope off with a book and escape the kids. Plenty of shade and sunny areas too. Naturally we had to be really careful with the children around the river, but with so much space this wasn't really a problem. There is so much to do at the house that we barely ventured out much. Trampolining, fishing, kayaking, badminton, football, rounders, swimming, all kept everyone entertained. Thierry even put up a climbing wire and hammock for us and watching the donkeys being moved each night was a real highlight. Thierry and Betty were really helpful; discrete but always available and we can't thank them enough for such a fantastic holiday. Unfortunately we can't return in 2017 due to a family wedding but we are very much hoping to stay again in summer 2018.
