Great location, spacious and all you needed for a short break

Not a not like but just to be aware the elevator needs patience

The apartment was comfortable, secure and quiet, situated in a pleasant neighbourhood and close to Poznan city centre and old town. It was being cleaned when I arrived and all was in good working order. It is ideal for a single traveller.

All was good, but it would have been nice to have some basic toiletries, a tea towel and an armchair. If there were TV channels in English, I couldn't find them!

I liked almost everything about the apartment. The room had everything I needed, including an iron. The kitchen was well-equipped with a kettle, utensils and all necessary items. There was a washing machine available, the bed was comfortable, and I couldn’t hear any noise from neighbors - nobody disturbed me. Everything about the apartment made my stay very convenient and comfortable.

The only thing that really spoiled my experience was that I couldn’t enter the apartment at night. I spent about 30–40 minutes trying to open the entrance door. The instructions said to enter the code and “don’t forget to press the key button” (the key button was shown in parentheses). I followed the instructions exactly as written, and logically it seemed that if the number comes first and the key button is mentioned afterward, you should enter the numbers first and then press the key button. Perhaps in Poland it is common to press the key button first, and everyone knows this, but in hostels people come from many different countries and not everyone would understand this, so it should be clearly stated. I tried many times, thinking I might be entering the code too slowly, but nothing worked. I called the phone number listed for help, but nobody answered, even though I called twice. I was outside at night with no way to get in and didn’t know what to do. I even thought I might have to spend the night at the train station. Finally, out of desperation, I tried pressing the key button first and then entering the code, and the door opened. This experience wasted 30–40 minutes of my time and left me very stressed, especially because I had only a couple of hours of sleep before an important event I needed to attend. After this, I didn’t even want to use the elevator because it didn’t feel trustworthy, but going up the stairs was fine. There was also a minor issue with finding the apartment on the map - the address didn’t show correctly but this was nothing compared to the problem of not being able to enter the door at night. Another thing that negatively affected my experience was the hair dryer. When booking the apartment, it was very important for me that a hair dryer would be available, so I wouldn’t have to carry mine and take up space in my bag. The listing indicated that a hair dryer would be provided, so I didn’t bring mine.

Jeden z apartamentów był w miarę nowy, drugi już mocno zużyty. Tylko w jednym był klimatyzator. Łazienki bardzo małe, brak miejsca na kosmetyki.
