Peaceful and beautiful. Staff were amazing and great value for money.

Property is beautiful! Pool next to the rice fields? Amazing!!! Peaceful and everyone was very kind.

We did come with a large group so sometimes breakfast options were limited.

A wonderful quiet place to stay with small kids

Me and my family (with small kids) really liked this place. It was so relaxing, surrounded by nature. Kids loved the pool overlooking the rice fields. The food was very good and it was great that they offered lunch and dinner as well with large variety of cusine, western and asian. But most of all we are thankful to the staff - they were beyond helpful and polite.

Amazing esthetic, closer to nature , if you wanna experience the Gecko sound take the villa and don’t be scared at middle of the night with Gecko sounds . They won’t come inside

Nice setting, peaceful vibe and helpful staff.

The place was simply lovely. Very peaceful and clean. There was more breakfast options that in all other properties we stayed at during our Indonesia trip and other food from the restaurant was also great. Staff were attentive and helpful. I would happily come back.

Nothing to do with the property itself but for those who want to spend time in central Ubud, it’s worth keeping in mind that due to heavy traffic, it often took us at least 30minutes to get there. However, in my view it’s still well worth the peace and quiet this place offers.

Perfect place to recover from jet lag

Located about 30 minutes north of Ubud Center, Alam Kawi is the perfect place to relax. I booked a Villa and it was so cool! My own little space to enjoy peacefully while recovering from jet lag. The front desk/ restaurant staff were so friendly. I had a 90 minute massage that was just what I needed after making my way to Bali from the states. The prices were super reasonable. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely staff and a great place to stay!

The staff are amazing and friendly. They are the ones who make the place worth visiting, with that said, the facilities, bed and all were nice too.

I would say the location, but that's just a personal thing. I felt like things were a bit away. That's my preference, however.

Amazing hospitality

to be honest I like the hospitality of the all the hostess at the reception they were very helpful and I think there hospitality is the one thing that makes this trip very very amazing for us as we stayed at 4 resorts during our trip to Bali but they did stand out. Even on the last day we had to check out very early in the morning, but they gave us breakfast basket even without asking which was very thoughtful and there were various instances of them being good at their job.

The lizards and geckos everywhere, but we made our peace with it as we were in middle of rice fields.

Love the location, the team was so nice and warm. Exceptional in terms of value for money. Had work all day when I stayed there- wifi 100mbps was excellent.

Great design, bathroom needs some renovation, bad food, terrific service.

The pool is superb, the staff were very accomodating, and the view and construction of our villa impressed many in our party.

The bathroom looked quite tired and needed new furnishings. Additionally, the sliding glass doors to our villa were very poorly maintained. The included breakfast was also not very good in terms of quality and quantity.

I love the place!

The view is amazing, the pool is clean, the room is big, clean and neat, the foods are delicious. They have billiard also, me and my husband keeps playing with it while waiting for our food. Staffs are amazing as well, very nice, very approachable, always smiling and making sure we are enjoying our stay in their accomodation. They have motorbike rental and can ask for laundry service. Their wifi is good also. Very peaceful place. Place is cold also. Definitely will recommend this place.

No hot shower water on our 2nd night and last day before we checked out in the accomodation, we thought maybe there's a timing or something or maybe runs out of hot water?. I also requested something to put words in our bed to surprise my husband, but they forgot it, tho it is ok as it doesn't have an additional payment.

Staff were very attentive.

1. There was high noise from the temple located near the property 2. Only 2 small bottles of water were provided for a day. 3. Food ordered was ok the first day, not good the second. Same dish but some items were missing for the second order. 4. Had a 2am shower to go for a hike but hot water was turned off. Very disappointing. 5. Lots of ants in the room and the bed.

best hotel with beautiful and accessible to go temple around in Ubud.

I like the nature that's why I choose this hotel. there is rice terrace to my balcony which I love it and insects and lizard are around. which I love to see this nature.

the water is only two bottle for day which is not enough. if we want more its charge or next day we get another bottle. this should be noted that this location hotel is middle of the village so there should be provided water.

The Villa was really nice and has a really nice bathtube! (hot water was not a lot, so this is something they could improve). Good value for price. Great view on the rice fields, nice pool and friendly stuff. It is ideal to relax, far from the busy centre.

The area around is really beautiful and green but not the most convenient if you want to stay close to the center of Ubud (around half an hour with the car and the street is dark). I was expecting more breakfast options for the price.

The staff were amazing. The pool has awesome scene and very relaxing.

Bed was quite stiff, the AC wasn’t working very well unfortunately. AC cooling system seems broken. The towel looks unclean, prolly just old and some hard stains. Food portion size was just very small, even for Asians - I think it’s a Bali thing. I can’t believe how tiny the food are for the prize.

Lovely for a few days out of ubud

Lovely accommodation, nice rooms with a balcony overlooking the rice fields. Pool area is also lovely. Was great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with a fridge. Staff super helpful

Found quite a few bugs in the room. Very far out in comparison to ubud, struggled to get a taxi on many occasions

Amazing! 100% recomended

Everything was perfect! The staff super friendly. Good food. Nice calm pool with beautiful view. Clean and comfortable rooms. Amazing room service through whatsapp and their bungalows are just WAW!!!

Little details: The wifi is sometimes slow.. And it would be good to have a place to hang the hand shower (so you can wash your hairs with your 2 hands)

Unique

Out room was unique and was definitely a cool place to stay.

The room did not feel very clean and when we fist checked in, there were dead bugs on the bed and the fridge was not working (it kept making a loud noise). There were also retreats happening during our stay and it was very loud. Many loud screams and yelling at 10pm at night.

NOT WORTH IT

Our stay at your hotel was not pleasant at all. We had closed the villa and upon entering we saw that the doors did not close well and left large gaps between. The bathroom had a hole in the window where even a mouse could fit. it was full of insects and bugs. we had snails in the bathroom, which was supposed to be cleaned every morning and just left them there, we had a nest of large bees and of course, if there was a dead insect, they never cleaned it. the cleanliness in general was unacceptable, they didn't change sheets and towels while we left them on the floor to let them know we wanted a change, they didn't clean the place at all in any way. they found empty shampoo bottles, we didn't have toilet paper and they didn't bring any. on the bed every day we found dirt and even worms while we were sleeping. all areas were dirty full of insects. every day you found something else. we know that it is a hotel in nature, but the dirtiness is not justified at any level. previously we had stayed in a hotel in the jungle and we did not face such a situation. we paid a lot and unfortunately it was not worth it.

Superb

The staffs are amazing, hospitality is always the middle name of the staffs (or even Bali in general). Food tastes great, I can request to adjust my spicy level when I order fried rice and it's inexpensive. Location might not be in city center of Ubud but having a quiet stay was my main reason staying in Ubud. Recommend you guys to rent a scooter or car. They have parking lot for your vehicle

I felt the villa isn't very clean but it's understandable knowing the size is quite big and the roof is quite tall
